'I know what you are.'

It kept repeating inside his mind, and H'El's expression fractured a brief, flickering confusion hidden behind his arrogance. Then his eyes burned bright with fury.

"You dare?" His voice was sharp, almost trembling with rage. "You dare speak to me that way, Earthling? What do you know about me? What could you possibly know about Krypton?"

Arthur smirked, catching H'El's fist mid-swing and shoving it aside before retaliating with his own. "Oh," he said between strikes, "I know plenty."

Their fists collided like meteor impacts shockwaves tearing through the chamber, scattering chunks of frozen air. H'El's blows carried the weight of a mountain, but Arthur met them Doomsday's bone gauntlet groaning with every hit, violet trails painting arcs through the frozen air.

"I even know," Arthur said through gritted teeth, twisting under a punch and sending a counter straight into H'El's ribs, "things you don't know about yourself."

H'El's eyes flared white with rage.

He didn't speak he just struck.

His punch connected clean across Arthur's jaw a thunderclap that echoed through the Fortress and beyond. Arthur's body was launched like a missile, bursting through the crystalline wall in a shower of molten shards.

He vanished into the howling Arctic blizzard outside.

"Arthur!" Kara's voice tore through the roar of the storm, her eyes wide.

Before anyone could stop her, she rocketed after him, her torn cape snapping in the icy wind.

H'El floated through the hole in the wall a moment later.

Outside snowy and windy. Arthur stood up slowly, steam rising from his body, blood freezing along the edge of his chin. He brushed it off with his thumb, then let out a quiet, almost amused chuckle.

"It seems…" he murmured to himself, watching H'El's silhouette draw closer through the storm, "he really doesn't know he's a clone."

A grin cut across his face,

"Interesting."

As H'El approached, his eyes glowed crimson through the snow.

Arthur raised one hand.

A sound like thunder cracked the sky. The Kamish Twinblade materialized into his grip, its sharp edge humming with violet energy. He spun it once, the motion smooth and deliberate, then slashed through the air.

A crescent of shadow energy howled across the white horizon it sliced through the storm. H'El barely dodged, the edge grazing him, severing a lock of his black hair that spiraled down into the snow.

Before he could regain balance, something hit him from behind.

Superman crashing into him like a crimson meteor, wrapping his arms around H'El's torso, pinning him in place.

"Now!"

A beam of concentrated red energy ripped through the blizzard slamming into H'El's chest, enveloping him in light. He grimaced, staggering but not falling. His gaze turned towards the distant figure in the snow.

Batman stood there, smoke curling from the barrel of the device in his hand. His voice cut through.

"Of course," he muttered, "he's immune to red sun radiation blasts."

Kara turned midair, furious. "You could've hit Kal!"

"I don't miss," Batman replied flatly, eyes narrowing beneath the cowl.

H'El's gaze snapped, fury burning in his eyes. He unleashed twin beams of heat vision that tore across, carving through the slope where Batman had been standing. The Dark Knight dove, cloak flaring, the blast searing the edge of his armor.

Before H'El could press the attack the ground shook.

A shadow fell over him.

Then Doom landed.

The shockwave cracked the glacier beneath them, snow and ice exploding outward. Doom's massive hand came down like a hammer, slamming H'El into the ice. The creature roared, it just kept hitting. Blow after blow, relentless, primal.

Superman hovered nearby, eyes wide, watching the onslaught. "He's… relentless," he murmured. The sound of bones cracking under Doom's fists filled the air.

He exhaled, glancing briefly at Arthur, who was already walking through the snowstorm toward the fight twinblade dragging behind him, violet light trailing off its edge.

"I'm not even sure," Clark whispered to himself, "that I could stop that thing."

Then a shockwave.

"Enough!"

H'El's scream tore through the storm, a detonation of pure energy bursting from his body. The explosion sent snow flying for miles, the light blinding.

Doom was lifted clean off the ground and hurled through the air, smashing through ice cliffs until he disappeared in the distance a mountain of ice collapsing under his impact.

Arthur skidded back, one hand shielding his eyes from the blast, his dark cloak whipping violently. Kara steadied herself midair, teeth clenched, eyes blazing. Superman floated between them all, expression grim, as the blizzard howled around them.

H'El stood at the center of it all breathing heavy, chest scarred, eyes burning with heat vision.

He glared at Arthur, voice low, shaking with rage.

"You should've stayed hidden, shadow man."

Arthur rolled his neck, gauntlet flexing as violet fire crackled across his knuckles.

"Funny," he said with a small, cold smile, "people keep telling me that when they can't defeat me."

H'El shot forward ignoring Arthur, faster than sound, a blur of fury. His fist collided with Superman's jaw, sending Clark spinning through the air, his already torn cape shredding in the wind. But Clark twisted mid-flight and came back harder, driving a punch into H'El's ribs that cracked the air like thunder. The shockwave shattered a frozen ridge miles away.

Kara streaked past them, golden hair trailing, her heat vision cutting through the storm in twin beams of molten red. H'El crossed his forearms, absorbing the blast, but Kara was already on him spinning through the smoke, slamming her knee into his chest.

Arthur came from below.

The Kamish Twinblade glowed in his hand, a streak of violet slicing upward. He clashed with H'El mid-air, sparks of black and red fire erupting around them. Arthur's movements were a blur brutal, efficient, and unpredictable. He slashed, ducked, then he smirked and called out in a low voice.

"Don't look down."

The snow beneath them rippled and hands of darkness erupted from the ice, wrapping around H'El's limbs. They pulled, dragging him down as he roared, the ground cracking under the sheer force of his resistance.

Superman seized the chance diving in, fists like meteors, striking again and again with full force, no restraint left. Every hit shook the air, each one echoing with decades of holding back.

H'El caught one punch but Kara was already there, smashing into him from behind, heat vision igniting around his shoulders. He spun, snarling, eyes blazing with solar energy.

Arthur appeared again behind him this time, forming another construct, a shadow spear piercing H'El's side before melting back into smoke.

"You're a clever warrior," H'El hissed through gritted teeth, heat vision flaring. "But tricks won't..."

He didn't finish.

Arthur raised a hand, and dozens of shadow constructs erupted from the ice black colossal armored knights, all wielding spears and chains. They swarmed, grabbing H'El and forcing him down again, pinning him to the frozen earth.

Arthur's eyes glowed brighter. "Now."

Kara and Clark answered in unison two beams of heat vision slicing into H'El's position, melting glaciers into rivers. The explosion of steam and fire lit up the sky.

But Arthur wasn't done.

He clenched his fist his shadow ring glowing brighter and the shadow constructs began to morph, collapsing inward, forming a dome of darkness around H'El. The air inside shimmered with glowing violet light. Arthur flicked his wrist, and the light turned red.

"Shadow prison…" he muttered. "Boom."

The dome detonated.

A shockwave blasted outward a blinding eruption of fire and shadow that tore through the landscape. The snowstorm was obliterated in an instant, replaced by a massive crater that smoked and glowed from the heat.

Kara, hovering nearby, blinked at the explosion, the shockwave tossing her hair wildly. She turned slowly toward Arthur, an incredulous expression on her face.

"Naming your attacks, Really? Shadow prison...?" she asked, deadpan.

Arthur shrugged, both hands raised. "What?" he said innocently, though the faint smirk betrayed him. "He's not exactly fragile."

Kara replied "That's not what I... ugh nevermind."

Superman sighed, shaking his head as he floated up beside them, "You're starting to sound like someone..."

Before Arthur could respond, the air below them rumbled.

From the smoke, H'El rose tattered, scorched, and bleeding, but still standing. His chest glowed faintly, solar energy coursing through his veins like molten veins of gold. He wiped the blood from his lip with the back of his hand and grinned.

The grin was unsettling, madness, and pride all in one.

"Impressive," H'El said, voice low and ragged. "But you three… still don't understand what you're facing."

Kara's brow furrowed. Clark's fists tightened. Arthur's twinblade spun once in his hand, humming with shadow energy.

H'El floated higher, eyes burning "I absorbed a star," he said. "I have bathed in solar fire, consumed the power of a yellow sun. You are not strong enough. None of you are."

The three of them the last Kryptonians and the shadow monarch now hovered in the frozen wasteland, the aurora above twisted by their power. The Arctic was destroyed replaced by a battlefield of glassed ice and burning light.

Arthur's smirked. "Quite the tough bastard…" His violet eyes sharpened, glinting with something dangerously amused. "…for a clone."

The words landed like a spear through H'El's heart.

H'El froze. His breath caught.. just a fraction but the rage that followed was volcanic. His pupils contracted, and the veins at his forehead flared.

"What did you.. just say to me?" His voice was venomous, low, trembling with restrained fury.

Arthur tilted his head, the corner of his mouth lifting in mock innocence."Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you knew."
