Coco stirred awake, her eyes flickering open as she slowly returned to consciousness.
Her gaze was hazy and unfocused, her movements clumsy as she tried to orient herself, and slowly, she lifted her head, lifting her hand to rub the sleep from her eyes.
A slight frown emerged in her features as she tried to clear the fog from her mind, her body feeling sluggish and heavy.
However, even if she was still disoriented with sleep, Coco noticed that the carriage had stopped, the sudden stillness breaking through the fog of her sleep.
Coco's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she looked out of the window and saw that they were indeed stationary, their surroundings still and unmoving around them.
The realization that the journey had come to a halt filled Coco with a little hope, then she tore her gaze away from the window and looked around the carriage, just in time to see that the mediators were already looking at her.
None of them spoke, except for the mediator beside her.
