Asher thought about his conversation with Wilson, the way he was answered by his Captain was somewhat baffling to him.
"I thought they represented everything good." Asher said out loud, Elizabeth hadn't returned and was most likely with Wilson. "Can't be bothered about her right now."
He laid back down on his bed and thought about the life he had before he was given this one. His mind flashed back to the Jardels like Aethera, King Aaron, Queen Aurora, Prince Arin and his best friend Victor.
Tears streamed down his face as he remembered how they died and how his mother was taken from him as well.
Revenge huh? Seems I've forgotten why I wanted Gabriel and Radkiel to train me previously. Asher thought to himself, his mind flashed back to how Xanereth annihilated the ones he had considered family.
"Now here I am, weaker than I've ever been and I'm concerned about moral standards. What if they attack once again, what if they intend to destroy this world once again?"
