Chapter 117 - Rune Magic

"Also, since the bodies of mages are so weak in combat, in a fight mage versus mage, the one who hits first wins because the body of a mage cannot withstand an offensive spell at the same stage as the mage casting it. To avoid these two issues, every mage should have in their spell collection a blocking spell and a spell that either teleports them a bit away or greatly increases their speed so that the mage can keep distance from a warrior."

"We're now moving on to Rune Magic, which I guess many of you don't know, so I'll start from the basics. I'll tell you just a little about it because the lecture will be over in a moment. Rune Magic consists of magical circles mostly used for more complex spells or rituals. That's all I'll tell you about it — partly because the lecture is ending, and partly because I don't want to steal my colleague's job, who teaches Rune Magic." She said and glanced at the students.
