In the endless cosmos, it was a place where light itself feared to reach it. There existed nothing. No living beings, no stars, but only emptiness, the Void.
No one knew when it was born or created; it simply existed there for centuries beyond what any mortal could comprehend.
Inside this boundless emptiness was something present. Something sinister, darker, and primal. It was called Void Energy.
This energy gave birth to some creatures that could not be justified in human words. They could only be described as creatures of abomination and nothing else.
They were void creatures. They wreaked havoc upon multiple living planets by first sending the Void Energy to those planets and then attacking them through space rifts.
They have existed for more than centuries, and the number of planets they have devoured is simply unfathomable.
These creatures might seem like beasts, but no, the more powerful ones also had sentience. That's what made them more dangerous and something to be feared.
And then one day, this Void Energy reached a planet called Prymia. The energy caused the beings of the planets to evolve; not even animals were spared. But the humans, they didn't submit to that raw corruption and evolution. They evolved by consuming the Void energy and making a safe path to evolve further.
This caused many powerful humans to be created. They started acting like emperors of the past and started to destroy the civilized nations to rule them just because they gained powers.
Multiple countries fell down; many more were directly destroyed along with the civilians due to the sheer power of the awakeners.
The humans who assimilated successfully to awaken their powers were called awakeners. The powerful ones among them started to show greed, the most disgusting human nature.
This greed caused the death of countless humans who had nothing to do with it. But alas, it was your inability to protect yourself; that's what the powerful ones thought, and they didn't even think about their lives.
Who would care about the lives of ants? Obviously, no one. It was just a difference of being on another level of power, and even if void energy couldn't corrupt the humans, it didn't ever need to because the humans were always corrupted beings who succumbed to their greed.
But what they hadn't expected was that with the power they had gained, destruction was also coming. Because the moment the void energy had landed on Prymia, the Void Creatures, those beings of abominations who could sense the energy, had also sensed Prymia.
And the moment they did, they started rushing towards the planet, and after thirty years, when they finally reached it, they couldn't enter the solar system in which Prymia was located.
Why? Because there was a mysterious light blue-colored barrier protecting the whole solar system along with Prymia. This barrier prevented the absolutely powerful Void creatures from entering Prymia, but the weaker ones still managed to slip through.
But when these Void creatures reached Prymia, something unexpected happened: they found beings who were able to resist them. But it still wasn't enough to completely stop them.
The humans who were infighting and also fighting Void creatures started to decrease as they were taken down. Two continents had fallen into the hands of the Void creatures after their relentless attacks.
That's when the humans realized that if they wanted to protect their planet and contend against those beings of absolute destruction, they had to unite together and destroy them.
They no longer fought with each other and started to fight the Void creatures together, as humans. It was now a matter of saving their race. If they couldn't even survive, what would be the point of ruling more people and territory?
It was in this world that a child was born. Asterion. He was born to a normal family who lived in the outskirts of the country near the borders to the other continent because these humans were the most useless as they couldn't help in any way in this changing era.
And when he was four years old, his village was destroyed. So what will happen to his family? Will they survive or dir and will he die and have a spin at reincarnation or gain powers?
