"How long do you think Uldess is going to be?"
Rayleigh didn't know; he wasn't even sure how Uldess would search for his weapon.
"Looks like we have some downtime[1]. What happened in there, Ray?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, when you were creating Agent. You were saying something about how Rita killed Ben."
Rayleigh couldn't answer; he thought he was in some spiritual version of this reality.
"Uldess told me if I were to turn Rita into a true null entity, she would cease to exist. I was about to when he told me that I was not thinking straight, that I was letting my emotions fog my judgment, or something like that. He told me that he knew why I wanted to turn her, and he told me it wasn't entirely her fault for Ben killing him self."
Alex looked taken aback at finding out Rita wasn't fully responsible.
"What do you mean, Ray? Of course she was, she accused him, she bullied him online, how was it not entirely her fault!"
Rayleigh felt like he was going to lose it.
"Apparently, he was sick, and he didn't have that much time left, and he wanted to spend it with us, but when he was rejected, he couldn't look at us, and then when Rita started attacking him, he just felt like there was nowhere else he could turn."
Alex sat down and put his head in his hands.
"Shit man, how could I of not seen it? He was always looking tired when we used to hang out, and he was nearly always out of breath."
Rayleigh sat down next to Alex, trying not to cry.
"Ok, Ben would not want us mopping around, so let's train."
Alex got up and started to stretch. Rayleigh, still sitting on the floor, was happy to see that Alex wouldn't let this break his spirits.
"Alright, so what should we do?"
"You, Ray, are going to learn how not to use so much energy when creating and destroying concepts, and also increase your energy reserves."
"Who am I supposed to do that?"
Alex got that smirk Rayliehg could only tolerate.
I am going to spare with Agent."
