Mana is the energy they can harness for techniques, spells, or affinity-based powers.
Mana/Power Ranks:
Initiate
Novice
Apprentice
Adept
Advanced
Master
Grandmaster
Sovereign
Ascendant
Demigod
…
Mana ranks correlate loosely with talent. The higher your talent, the faster you naturally progress in mana ranks.
Talent Ranks/ Mana caps
Common - Novice
Basic potential, slow progression.
Uncommon - Adept
Above-average potential, can reach intermediate ranks.
Rare - Master
High potential, can grow past standard limits.
Legendary - Sovereign
Exceptional, recognized among elites.
Mythic - Demigod
Almost limitless potential, can reach the highest ranks.
Talent ranks can increased, but the methods are exceedingly rare. Although highly influential people have artifacts that can increase it, most of them can't get past through rare.
Affinity Tiers & Mastery
Shows how close someone is to fully embodying their affinity.
Tiers range 1 → 10, where Tier 10 could be considered "Authority" or godlike in that affinity.
Each tier has 4 levels (Tier 1, Level 1 → Tier 1, Level 4). After Level 4, they rank up to the next tier and Level resets to 1.
Technique Mastery
Represents skill and finesse with combat techniques or affinity applications.
4 ranks:
1. Beginner – Basic understanding, can perform actions without injury but not efficient.
2. Intermediate – Functional skill, able to chain techniques, understand mechanics.
3. Elite – Mastery of timing, power, and strategic use; techniques become deadly.
4. Perfection – Virtually flawless execution, can improvise and adapt instantly.
Artifacts
Tier 1 – Basic. Common materials, small boosts, mainly utility.
Tier 2 – Minor. Slightly stronger effects, more durable, some rarity.
Tier 3 – Moderate. Noticeable stat boosts or unique minor effects.
Tier 4 – Strong. Powerful effects, can influence battle outcomes, uncommon.
Tier 5 – Elite. Very rare, can alter strategies significantly, often unique.
Tier 6 – Legendary. Extraordinary power, often linked to historical or mythical figures.
Tier 7 – Mythic. Near-cosmic quality, world-altering potential.
Title Ranks
Common - Very small influence.
Examples: Apprentice Swordsman, Minor Scholar
Uncommon - Noticeable but mild.
Examples: Woodland Runner, Adept Mage
Rare - First rank where the world meaningfully reacts.
Examples: Forgotten Prince, Dungeon Conqueror
Epic - Strong effects, for elites and prodigies.
Examples: Dragon Slayer, Bloodline Revitalizer
Legendary - Famous across regions; deep world influence.
Examples: Kingkiller, Void's Chosen
Mythic - One in a millennium. Reality bends slightly around you.
Examples: Starborn, Deathbound Sovereign
Unique - Tied to laws, concepts, or existence itself.
Examples: Supreme Primordial's heir, child of time
Unique titles are irreplaceable, bound to a single individual or concept, and can bend reality itself. Unique titles are not inherently the strongest; their strength depends on the effects they provide. A unique title could be as weak as a common one in raw power, but what makes it unique is that no one else has it.
These are the rankings for now btw.
