Sarvagya couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong. Tripti had been unusually quiet since morning. At breakfast, she barely spoke, and during the entire drive back home, she remained silent, staring out the window.
It wasn't like her.
After struggling with his thoughts for a while, he finally spoke. "Tripti? What's wrong, baby? You've been so quiet since last night. Did I do something wrong?"
Tripti blinked, snapping out of her thoughts. She turned to him and shook her head. "Nothing. I just want to rest when we get home. I'm a little tired. Didn't get much sleep last night."
Sarvagya reached out and ran his fingers through her hair gently. "Oh, love. I thought maybe you were upset with me for something and were giving me the silent treatment. But don't worry, we're almost home. As soon as we get there, you can rest as much as you want."
Tripti nodded, resting her head against the seat, but her mind was still replaying Amber's message.
