Fu Ling opened his eyes and was met with darkness. He blinked a few times and still couldn't make out trh shapes.
[System am I blind?"
The system scanned him and beeped
[No host, the room is just too dark.]
Fu Ling was relieved and slowly felt his way out of bed. It wasn't large and is he sat in the middle both his hands could go around the bed.
Since he couldn't see anything yet, he decided to go through this body's memory first. He lay back in the bed and the system conscientiously sent him everything.
He closed his eyes and filtered through them. This body, obviously called Fu Ling grew up in the slums with his older sister.
They fought hard everyday to survive and even eating was a luxury while watching others bask in wealth that they could not even dare to imagine.
In his eyes, the world was gray and dark. The constant rain was like a testament of their condition. They were like drowning sewer rats and the broken neon signs highlighted that sharply.
