I waited for about two minutes before a well-kept man walked over. "Sir, the kitchen just finished packing your order. Would you like us to help carry it to your car?"
My initial reaction was to decline, but when I saw how many boxes there were, I quickly agreed.
The kitchen staff, along with the manager, all carried the boxes of food into my car.
"Thank you for choosing our restaurant. Here is the receipt for today's order." The manager bowed and handed over a small slip of paper.
I glanced at it quickly before slipping it into my pocket.
Only $563.23? Maybe I should have ordered a few more dishes...
I decided to hurry back. Leslie was hungry, and I wanted to deliver the food while it was still hot.
I'll just order extra for lunch today.
With my thoughts sorted, I made my way back to the company.
