The village meeting hall was filled with tense energy. The leaders of the allied clans and sects were gathered around a large table, discussing the latest news regarding the Shadow Clan. Liang Feng and Mei Lin sat beside Old Master Hong, watching the discussion intently.
"The scouts have confirmed that the Shadow Clan is moving toward us," Leader Kang said, his voice deep and serious. "They should arrive in three days."

Old Master Hong stepped forward, his voice calm but firm.

The leaders exchanged glances, but it was Leader Kang who spoke first.
— "Alright. We'll follow your plan. But we need assurances that we're not risking ourselves in vain."
Liang Feng looked at Mei Lin, feeling a surge of relief. They knew this was only the first step, but they also knew they were on the right track.
— "We'll do whatever it takes," he said finally.
