Chapter 351 - The Egg Hatches

Silvanus sniffled for a while, then carried the egg into the bathroom. Even as he washed up, he didn't forget to keep channeling light into it.

Whatever. If that stupid egg still didn't move by tomorrow, he'd just bury it.

Or he should find a chicken to hatch it instead.

 However, given the size of this thing, it makes more sense to get an ostrich to sit on it.

Even as he drifted off to sleep, Silvanus couldn't stop thinking. He held the egg tightly in his arms, brows furrowed, his sleep restless.

He woke up because of the heat.

In his dream, it felt like he was holding two burning coals—the scorching pain made him jolt awake and instinctively fling whatever was in his hands away.

It took his mind a moment to catch up. When he saw the egg hovering midair, Silvanus's eyes widened, and he dove forward at lightning speed, catching it before it hit the floor and rolling across the ground with it.

"Ah—hot! Hot! Hot!"
