Chapter 352 - Not a Beast

In the principal's office, the little fox sat in Silvanus's hands, chin lifted high, looking utterly confident. The principal, meanwhile, nodded thoughtfully as he stared at it for a long moment.

 He looked at Silvanus, then back at the fox.

Just a moment ago, this outstanding student had suddenly appeared with a fox in his arms, asking whether it was a beast.

Of course, beasts were a rare resource. They weren't easily tamed—especially the adult ones—and their numbers were scarce, found only in remote regions where humans seldom ventured.

These days, a few beasts had been domesticated to serve as tools to aid humankind, though even those were few in number.

As for the fox in Silvanus's hands—

The principal glanced at Silvanus's expectant expression. Silvanus's eyes were wide, blinking rapidly as he nodded instinctively.

At last, the principal said, "It's just an ordinary fox."
