Chapter 123 - Chapter 123: Magnet Release

The "Golden Sands Realm" slowly dissipated...

Every trace of the battle, along with the corpses, was gradually swallowed by the golden sand, leaving no sign that a fight had ever taken place here.

"Let's go, Pakura... It's time to make further use of some resources," Danzo called out as he approached Pakura.

The Fourth Kazekage followed closely behind them, disappearing into the vast desert.

Five kilometers from the battlefield, deep within a Root stronghold—

Inside a stone chamber filled with an array of complex instruments and devices, over twenty Root members stood on guard, maintaining strict vigilance.

The Fourth Kazekage was tightly wrapped in bandages, covered in intricate and mysterious seals.

"Don't worry, Pakura. As long as I'm here, nothing will happen to you."

"Mm, I believe in you." With that, she removed the few remaining pieces of clothing on her body.

Crossing her arms over her chest, she slowly closed her eyes and lay down on the medical table.

After forming a series of intricate hand seals, Danzo pressed one hand onto Pakura's abdomen.

Her body trembled slightly, and the seals began to spread across her slender frame…

At the same time, the runes on the effigy of the Fourth Kazekage glowed with a mysterious light.

The technique had just begun—

Suddenly, the effigy started to shake violently. The surface bulged as if something inside was struggling to break free.

Pakura's brows furrowed tightly, her expression twisting in pain.

Danzo also frowned. He had put considerable effort into ensuring the Fourth Kazekage's extraction would proceed smoothly.

But judging by the current situation, it seemed that effort had little effect. Was the forced removal of a kekkei genkai triggering an instinctual resistance from the body and mind?

His Sharingan spun rapidly, revealing an intricate, mesmerizing pattern.

"Dojutsu—Tenkusari!"

Within a radiant space tinged with blue and hints of soft pink, the Fourth Kazekage, Rasa, slowly opened his eyes.

"Where is this...? Danzo... Damn it…!" In an instant, his memories surged back like a tidal wave.

Being controlled... Killing the Daimyo... Becoming an enemy of his own village... And just now—the searing pain of his bloodline being ripped away…

"So the soul is immune to genjutsu." The ghostly figure of Danzo gradually solidified into a tangible form.

"Danzo… I'll kill you!" Rasa roared, his eyes burning with fury.

"Magnet Release: Eternal Sand Burial!"

A colossal wave of gold sand erupted behind him, flooding the space with its dazzling brilliance.

"Interesting…"

Danzo could clearly sense that Rasa was using actual ninjutsu within this soul-space—and it was consuming his very soul's strength.

That massive tide of golden sand? It was merely a physical manifestation of his spiritual energy.

"If that's the case…" Danzo mused, casually reaching out a hand.

The once-bright space dimmed slightly.

Above, a colossal hand materialized, blotting out the sky as it descended.

The golden sand, seemingly all-powerful, was effortlessly scooped up like a child's plaything—along with Rasa himself.

With a powerful squeeze, the once-mighty sands and the Fourth Kazekage were reduced to shimmering fragments, scattering into the void.

Back in reality, Danzo slowly opened his eyes.

He could clearly feel the toll on his soul.

But it wasn't a permanent loss—he estimated that his spiritual energy would recover within ten days.

Satisfied with the results of his dojutsu, he smirked slightly.

...

Over two hours later—

Pakura finally opened her eyes, exhaustion and confusion evident in her gaze as she propped herself up on the bed.

The moment she saw Danzo, her face lit up with joy.

"Danzo-sama..."

"How do you feel, Pakura?" Danzo asked, though despite himself, there was an unusual flicker in his gaze…

Pakura's body tensed, and she instinctively raised her arms to cover her chest.

But as she made the initial motion—she hesitated, then slowly lowered them.

Turning slightly to the side, she rested her hands on her thighs, her expression a mixture of shyness and restraint, with a faint blush creeping across her face.

"I… I'm not sure if it worked…"

"There's only one way to find out. Also, put on your clothes." Danzo picked up a prepared set of garments and handed them to her.

Instead of taking them, Pakura's blush deepened. Kneeling on the bed, she raised her hands, golden sand swirling around her like a living entity.

The fine grains shimmered, reflecting the dim light as they danced in the air. In this moment, with her graceful posture and radiant aura, she resembled a goddess of the desert itself.

"Did it work? It's… beautiful…" Danzo murmured, momentarily captivated by the sight.

But before he could appreciate it further—

The golden sand suddenly wrapped around his wrists!

Pakura yanked him forward, pulling him onto the medical table.

With a swift movement, she straddled him, pressing her hands firmly against his shoulders.

Looking down at him with flushed cheeks and unwavering determination, she whispered—

"Lord, you are mine… Forever…"
