Aryan tapped his foot restlessly at the building entrance, his impatience simmering beneath the night air.
"Five minutes… No, ten minutes… Where is he? I shouldn't have listened to him. Now I'm just standing here like a fool. Should I call Uncle Ben? At least he always comes on time..."
He grumbled softly, shifting his weight as he scanned the street for any glimpse of Evan. Even behind his mask and hat, his tall frame and familiar aura were enough to draw sidelong glances. Whispers rippled through small groups of people who lingered, some recognizing him despite the disguise.
"Aryan, you haven't left yet? Do you need a ride?" one of his co-actors called, tone laced with casual friendliness.
Before Aryan could answer, a familiar voice cut through the noise.
"Aryan!"
Turning, he saw Evan approaching with a bright wave. Curious eyes followed the unexpected interaction with unspoken questions. Aryan offered his colleague a quick smile.
