"Brother, your husband is so unromantic!"
Alisha's voice broke the peaceful silence of the living room. She was sprawled on the couch, flipping through a glossy fashion magazine filled with dreamy honeymoon destinations and lovey-dovey couple photos.
Aryan looked up from his tablet, slightly amused. "Unromantic?"
"Yes!" she insisted, sitting up straight. "Newlyweds are supposed to be glued to each other, not to their laptops. Brother-in-law is either in a meeting, answering calls, or working late. I haven't even seen his face in days!"
Thinking back, Aryan realized she wasn't entirely wrong. Lately, Evan had been coming home late and leaving early.
"Hmm…" Aryan murmured thoughtfully.
"Brother, I'm serious," Alisha continued, watching him closely. "You're too patient with him. You should shake him up a little — why don't you surprise him?"
"Me?" Aryan blinked, pointing at himself.
"Of course you! Who else is his husband?" she teased.
