------------

John Wick felt like he was dreaming. He dreamed that he was ambushed by a group of punks he encountered during the day, and their target was his car. Not only that, his beloved dog, Daisy, a gift from his wife after her death, cried out in panic because of the attack, which also attracted the punks' malice. Those damn punks, they actually hurt his dog without hesitation! That was his beloved dog, his wife's last gift to him!

Wick's anger constantly surged within him. He felt as if he saw his puppy lying in a pool of blood, as if the only connection between him and his wife had been severed! An indescribable rage burst forth from deep within him;

he felt his anger was almost uncontrollable. Just then, he felt his face being licked by something. That moist sensation felt both familiar and somewhat strange to Wick.

"This is... Daisy? My dog?"

As a former top assassin, even though five years of retirement had caused his overall abilities to decline significantly, he still maintained a very high standard of basic reactions and judgment, especially when his heart was filled with fury. Forcing himself to wake up, John Wick immediately felt waves of pain throughout his body, especially his back and face. And as he awakened, his mind also seemed to become somewhat confused. Forcing his eyes open, Wick suddenly breathed a sigh of relief, because he saw his little dog Daisy licking his face.

Wick smiled, slowly extending his hand and vigorously rubbing his puppy's head several times. But soon, Wick's expression became solemn again, as his memory slowly returned. He remembered what happened last night; he remembered everything about last night!

Just last night, after he was ambushed by those damn punks, a man in a black trench coat, smoking a cigarette, suddenly appeared in his house. That man's methods were clean and ruthless, unlike anything Wick had ever seen!

That indifferent disregard for life made even John Wick shiver. He himself was a man with blood on his hands, and even he felt uneasy, so one can imagine how terrifying this guy was!

"But who is he? Why did he save me? Also, why does he look... exactly like me?"

Wick's hand, which was stroking the dog's head, gradually slowed. The unease in his heart made him very uncomfortable. Standing up, Wick hid his puppy in his closet, and then he slowly walked towards the living room.

Sure enough, there were three people sitting in the living room, and in front of them were scattered beer cans and an ashtray overflowing with cigarette butts. All three of these people made Wick feel a strong sense of threat. The man who looked exactly like him last night was also sitting among them, and just like last night, he was smoking a cigarette. As for the other two, Wick couldn't help but frown.

One was a man with a buzz cut, seemingly silent. Wick saw a reflection of himself in him. No, to be precise, he was even more dangerous than his former self. Even his five-year-ago self probably wouldn't have been a match for this guy!

As for the other one, John Wick felt like he had seen him somewhere before! Although this person was only wearing a black trench coat with distinct British characteristics, and his light blonde short hair, though not neat, looked very comfortable, his red and blue eyes gave a feeling of both strangeness and harmony.

Especially this person's aura, which gave Wick the illusion of facing a superior being. That calm, composed, yet all-controlling demeanor was something Wick had probably never encountered in his life.

Although this person seemed completely harmless, Wick felt no inclination to attack him at all, and even believed that if he did, he would have no chance of survival!

"Oh? John, your brother is awake," Noah turned his head to look and immediately said.

"Hmm?"

Both Constantine and Wick uttered sounds of confusion simultaneously, then they looked at each other with even more confusion. Only now did they notice that they not only looked exactly alike but also had the same name! Hesitating for a moment, Wick tried to calm himself down and said, "John Wick, thank you all very much for your help."

"John Constantine," Constantine replied casually, smoking a cigarette. "Don't shave or get a haircut in the future, lest some bored people come up with more boring things."

"Don't listen to his nonsense," Noah glared at Constantine at the opportune moment, then smiled slightly. "Hello, Mr. Wick, don't mind my friend's attitude. After all, you look like him, and our work is a bit special. Oh, by the way, you can just call me Phoenix. This is Jason Bourne. Speaking of which, his work is the same as yours, well, his former work."

"Hello, gentlemen," John Wick nodded, then fell silent again. John Wick was truly not a very good communicator, which was probably related to his work. Just like Jason, he wasn't good at communicating at first; most of his time was spent in silence.

Facing such people, Noah had some experience, so he didn't mind John Wick's attitude. He was currently thinking about something else. The last time in the parallel universe of Star Wars, Thor had told Noah to try being an ordinary person. To be honest, Noah thought this statement was simply boring, and even now, Noah didn't think doing so would help his strength improve. In fact, Noah himself felt that Thor did this purely because he was too bored! Noah could understand this, because he was also a bit bored now.

So Noah himself had some special ideas: to follow Mr. Wick into the so-called assassin world and experience it properly. Currently, Noah didn't have much to do. The domain was being operated by the system, and the application of the Time Stone's power wasn't something Noah could fully adapt to just by continuously working on it. Noah had already introduced some of the Time Stone's power into his body.

What Noah needed to do now was to prevent these powers from repelling the powers within his own body.

The mutual antagonism of the Infinity Stones was indeed sometimes quite annoying, but Noah felt it was okay; at least the pressure in Noah's heart wasn't as great now. But Noah didn't dare to fully relax, otherwise, Noah probably wouldn't be so diligent now; to this day, Noah still maintained daily combat training.

"Sit down, Wick, let's have a good talk." Noah, who was bored, didn't worry too much. After all, if something went wrong in New York, he could always find Fury, right? Although this guy was preparing his resignation from SHIELD because of Noah, such a huge organization wasn't something you could just leave. And Noah didn't think anything big would happen this year, unless Bucky came out early, otherwise Noah truly didn't think there was anything that needed to be done.

"What do you want to know? I'm retired," Wick frowned, but still sat down obediently.

"To be honest, the place where you used to work has long been targeted," Noah spread his hands. "The High Table, a corrupted assassin brotherhood. A friend of mine didn't hesitate to arrange quite a few people to infiltrate it."

"I'm retired," Wick frowned and emphasized. "If you helped me because of this, I can only say thank you, but I'm sorry, I can't do anything."

"Is that so?" Noah tilted his head. "That's truly a shame. Do you know who those people lying in your garage are?"

To be frank, Noah wasn't afraid of him not complying, because Noah had a reason that he couldn't refuse.

Although in the original story, he became extremely violent because his dog died, otherwise John Wick, the "Baba Yaga" and dog lover, wouldn't have appeared. Now it's different; his dog is still alive, but the troublemakers have been directly eliminated by Noah.

Viggo Tarasov was not a reasonable man. His son was dead, so it was impossible for him not to retaliate, even if it was just an attempt. There might not be the John Wick who was the "Baba Yaga" and dog lover, but who said there couldn't be a John Wick, the "Baba Yaga" who fought for his dog's life?

Besides, even without this guy, wasn't there also Santino D'Antonio, who, in order to become a member of the High Table, forced Wick to kill his own sister? One could say that John Wick truly wishing to retire was wishful thinking. The only way he could retire was with the help of Noah and his companions.

Moreover, Noah could already sense that quite a few people were ambushed around the house. If they were patient, they would probably act at night. If they weren't, perhaps this place would turn into a battlefield in the next second.

"Who are they...?" Wick didn't know the current situation,

but that didn't stop him from sensing Noah's confidence.

"Those Russian guys. The one leading them was Viggo Tarasov's son. Speaking of which, he's an old friend of yours," Noah said with an unconcerned smile. "That old man only has one son, and now he's dead in your garage. Do you think he'll just let it go?"

"You..." Wick gritted his teeth, clearly realizing that the situation seemed very bad.

"And the guy who helped you leave didn't really intend for you to leave." Noah casually picked up a can of beer and took a sip. "Gianna D'Antonio is also an old friend of yours. She officially inherited a High Table position, and Santino D'Antonio wants his sister dead. I don't think I need to say more about who he'll look for, do I?"

"Damn it..."

"Think carefully. The only thing you can count on is making us happy, and then letting you truly retire... and ensuring your dog will be safe."
