Chapter 526 - Chapter 526: Borrowed to You

"Are you ready?"

In Asgard's plaza, Odin and the Ancient One stood facing Noah, Thor, and Loki, their expressions solemn.

The three of them were equally serious.

They all knew what lay ahead.

A war.

An exceptionally dangerous battlefield.

Yet none of them showed fear.

Noah was calm.

Thor was visibly eager.

Loki, perhaps the most interesting of the three, looked confident-almost expectant.

It had to be said, Loki's condition was excellent.

After absorbing the power of the Casket of Ancient Winters and stabilizing his Asgardian form, his strength had risen sharply.

More importantly-

He had mastered the Reality Stone.

Honestly, Noah had no idea how Loki managed to do it.

But he didn't ask.

Just as Noah had said before, every Infinity Stone required a different method. Asking would only risk misleading himself.

He had no interest in doing something that foolish.

Besides, Noah no longer needed any other Stones. That secret could stay with Loki.

Loki's base strength was already around Tier Eight.

This was nothing like the Loki from the original timeline who was effortlessly strangled by Thanos.

As for how strong he could become when wielding the Reality Stone?

Even Noah was a little curious.

The Reality Stone was terrifying.

Turning the impossible into possible was already absurd enough.

Add Loki's temperament to that?

Troublesome didn't even begin to cover it.

"Of course we're ready."

Thor answered Odin immediately, without hesitation.

Noah and Loki simply nodded.

Among sorcerers, there was an unspoken understanding-they wouldn't show agitation like Thor did.

"Then... good luck, my children."

Since they were ready, Odin and the Ancient One didn't waste time.

For those watching, this might take a while.

For Noah and the two princes, it would likely be an instant.

Odin glanced at the Ancient One.

She nodded gently.

Raising her hands, a golden glow appeared between them.

As her hands moved, a strange rune-one Noah had never seen before-manifested in the air.

At the same time, Noah and the two princes were slowly enveloped by it.

This power was unfamiliar.

It was a fusion of time and space-

Yet it contained something even deeper.

"System," Noah asked silently, "can you record this rune and the magic involved?"

He felt it could be useful.

"Yes," the system replied quickly, "but it is not recommended."

"These powers have surpassed your current comprehension. Not everything beyond your scope is beneficial."

Noah nodded inwardly and stopped thinking about it.

The system was right.

Some things that went too far beyond one's reach only brought trouble.

Closing his eyes, Noah let go of the thought entirely.

As for what to do once they arrived?

He could only take it step by step.

That universe didn't share the same foundation as his own.

Nor the same level of combat power.

With a faint sigh, Noah felt himself being pulled into a strange space.

The sensation was familiar.

Like being dragged across the world by the Space Stone.

But this time-

It was faster.

So fast that everything blurred past in an instant.

The speed made Noah nauseous.

He glanced back at Thor and Loki.

They were behind him.

And seeing their state, Noah was extremely glad he was in front.

Because both of them were flying and vomiting the entire way.

He quickly looked away.

If he kept watching, he was going to throw up too.

That was when Noah noticed a point of light ahead.

Their destination.

He closed his eyes again.

Moments later, the sensation of movement vanished completely.

Everything stopped.

They had arrived.

Opening his eyes, Noah instinctively scanned his surroundings-

And was immediately met with a cluster of stunned gazes.

He recognized them instantly.

Captain America.

Iron Man.

Banner-already merged with the Hulk.

Ant-Man Scott.

Hawkeye Barton kneeling dazed on the ground.

A confused Nebula.

An overweight Thor.

Rocket Raccoon.

War Machine, still in full armor.

"Ugh-damn it... ugh!"

Before Noah could speak, a disgusting sound came from behind him.

"Damn it!" Noah's face turned green as he dodged aside. "Thor, I swear, if you throw up on me, I'll teach you a lesson!"

"And you too, Loki!"

He truly hadn't expected that both of his trips to parallel universes would be so undignified.

The first time, it was a high-altitude drop and a pile-up.

This time-

Collective motion sickness.

Barely tolerable.

"Thor? Loki? Wait-who are you? How did you get here?"

A familiar voice rang out.

Noah didn't need to turn around.

Captain America.

Even without much interaction in his own universe, Noah recognized that voice instantly.

He glanced around.

Everyone except Banner and Thor had already armed themselves.

Steve held his shield.

Tony was fully suited up.

The rest had drawn their weapons.

"What a warm welcome," Noah muttered.

The next moment, golden light flared around him.

Noah didn't think these Avengers would actually attack him.

But he had come here to fight.

And since they would be allies, a demonstration was necessary.

In an instant, everyone holding a weapon was restrained.

Pale golden, ethereal lines wrapped around their bodies, dragging them down to the ground.

Binding spells.

Simple.

Practical.

Noah had mastered plenty of them.

"Damn it-everyone, don't panic!" Banner snapped out of his daze. "Don't attack! They're here to help us!"

He truly hadn't expected Noah to act so decisively.

The impression Noah had left on him was far too deep.

Banner felt that if Noah really went all out here, the universe wouldn't need saving.

They'd all die first.

"Ah! Damn it, this jump was even worse than last time!"

Thor finally seemed to recover after vomiting.

He looked up.

"Banner? What happened to you?"

Then his gaze shifted.

"...Huh? Damn it! Who's that fat ball?"

Thor stared at the obese Thor standing nearby.

Feeling the exact same power flowing through that body, his mind nearly collapsed.

He knew exactly who that was.

He just hadn't expected his future self to look like this.

Where were the muscles?

Where was the proud Asgardian god, brimming with thunder?

This was Thor?

This was a creature whose blood was probably half cream and half alcohol, waiting to die?

"You..."

Fat Thor stared at the muscular Thor for a long time, then finally shifted his gaze to Loki.

After a long silence, he took a deep breath.

"What's going on?"

"Uh... simply put," Banner rubbed his head helplessly, "something went wrong during time travel."

"Went wrong?" Tony, still pinned to the ground, couldn't help speaking. "I was wondering where you disappeared to."

"I went to..." Banner hesitated. "A very miraculous universe. Similar to ours, but very different."

"They're from that universe."

"Then why are they here?" Steve asked. "Did you get discovered while getting the Stone?"

"No." Banner sighed. "I didn't get the Stone."

"What?"

"But," Banner continued slowly, "they agreed to lend it to us."

"And brought it here themselves."
