Chapter 531 - Chapter 531: Do You Think We Know Each Other?

Actually, there was no way Noah could tell which time period this Nebula came from.

Even if he could sense the power of time, he still couldn't do that.

Even the Thanos of 2014 only figured it out after Ebony Maw checked Nebula's internal database.

Noah wasn't completely ignorant about computers, but his knowledge was limited to watching movies, playing games, and occasionally checking a teacher's work.

Thor and the others didn't know any of this.

They had already prepared themselves mentally before coming here, so they fully believed Noah's words.

As for stopping this Nebula?

Are you kidding?

They came here to fight Thanos.

As for why Noah deliberately provoked these Avengers, even Noah himself hadn't fully figured it out.

But he understood his own personality.

It was probably because this world didn't have him.

And partly because of lingering dissatisfaction with the original story.

Logically speaking, Noah genuinely believed that the Avengers intercepting Thanos together wasn't the simplest solution.

How weak was Thanos at that time?

Even if more than half the Avengers were gone, and their main force Thor had turned into a "ball," Noah still didn't believe they couldn't handle Thanos in that state.

Yes, Thanos still had all six Infinity Stones, making him extremely dangerous.

But that was still better than Nebula being inexplicably replaced, and Natasha having to sacrifice herself for the Soul Stone.

Of course, this also came down to Steve and Tony not knowing what would happen.

If they had known, they probably would have chosen to fight Thanos head-on instead.

Even though Hawkeye and Black Widow were willing to sacrifice themselves, Captain America, as commander, would never have agreed to it.

Noah shook his head.

He was too lazy to keep thinking about it.

What concerned him more now was something else.

That was-

The Avengers of this universe really weren't as strong as he had imagined.

Or rather, they matched his expectations perfectly.

Noah had already used True Sight to check their strength.

Steve Rogers' level was honestly pretty good.

His upper limit could reach Tier Six, and his lower limit was around Tier Four.

Tony Stark was just an ordinary person, but once he put on his armor, he could reach Tier Seven or even Tier Eight.

As for Fat Thor-

Noah was genuinely dumbfounded.

This guy was only Tier Nine.

There was even a note next to it, stating that his peak strength had once been Tier Ten.

But right now, he could only display Tier Nine power.

This made Noah feel oddly defeated.

With their current strength, forget Thanos.

Noah himself could wipe them out together.

He truly couldn't understand how these "rotten fish and shrimp" had managed to defeat a Tier Ten Thanos.

Although the ones who truly dealt damage were the awakened, rampaging Scarlet Witch, and Captain Marvel Carol, who returned after getting her hair done-

The problem was that Fat Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man had still held Thanos back for quite a while.

That part made no sense to Noah.

He rubbed his chin.

His first thought was-

Could Thanos actually not be Tier Ten?

But he quickly dismissed that idea.

It was possible.

But Noah didn't dare gamble on it.

Either Thanos was deliberately holding back-which was extremely unlikely, since this Thanos was utterly ruthless.

Or-

The rules of this universe were different.

Noah didn't yet know how they differed.

But the Ancient One had said they had a chance.

So Noah chose to believe it.

"By the way," Noah said casually as he walked to the riverbank, turning to Loki, who had followed him, "how's your mastery of the Reality Stone?"

He was genuinely curious.

Anyone wielding an Infinity Stone was a major combat force.

"Not bad," Loki thought for a moment before answering. "When combined with ice powers, I can achieve many unexpected effects."

Then he added, "That Thor just now-the one who looked like a fat ball-his strength was terrifying."

"Of course it was," Noah glanced at him. "He fell to Tier Nine because of self-indulgence. At his peak, he was Tier Ten."

Loki was clearly changing the subject.

Noah didn't care.

At least, not much.

Loki clearly wasn't hiding anything from Noah.

The most likely scenario was that Loki wanted to surprise Noah-or Thanos.

Noah was very familiar with Loki's combat style.

This guy was actually quite similar to him.

Strong.

And cowardly.

To this day, Loki still preferred using illusions as bait while hiding his real body somewhere unknown.

With the Reality Stone added in, there was no telling what kind of absurd tricks he could pull.

Creating countless clones, constantly swapping the real body-

Catching him would be a nightmare.

"Tenth Tier?" Thor perked up immediately. "That guy was that terrifying at his peak? Uh-no, wait, that's me, right?"

"Of course it's you," Loki rolled his eyes. "Who else?"

"Besides, you look great as a ball."

"Damn it, Loki! Don't think I don't know what you've done! Delete those damn photos!"

"Sorry. Reality Stone. Even if you delete them, I can just recreate them."

Their brotherly bond was... unique.

Noah smiled faintly and ignored them.

He looked up at the sky.

It was very blue.

This world felt vast.

He rubbed his chin, then used the standard communication method of sorcerers.

Sorcerer communication varied by region, but most shared a common base.

Noah used the common magical world channel, along with Kamar-Taj's method.

He wanted to see if this universe still had sorcerers.

From his memory of the original story, there should be survivors-those Kamar-Taj sorcerers who lived through the Snap.

As for getting a response?

Noah didn't have much hope.

This universe might not even have a proper magical world anymore.

Sure enough-

Not long after, faint streams of strange information responded.

They came from many places.

But the strongest responses came from Nepal.

Kamar-Taj.

Noah smiled.

"As expected. There are still quite a few sorcerers alive in this universe."

He didn't know the exact number.

But it probably wasn't small.

Soon, familiar fluctuations of power appeared nearby.

That sudden disturbance naturally drew the attention of Rogers and the others, who were still in Avengers Tower.

As glowing portals opened one after another, Tony and Banner reacted immediately.

They had seen this before.

Sorcerers.

Sorcerers of this universe.

As the portals fully opened, robed figures stepped out.

"Wong?"

Noah immediately recognized the leading figure.

Honestly, he hadn't expected Wong to still be alive.

In the original timeline, Wong disappeared after Strange vanished. Noah had assumed Wong was also dusted.

Yet here he was.

Right in front of him.

Looking closer, Noah noticed Wong had aged significantly.

And his strength-

Was much lower than the Wong of Noah's universe.

"Who are you?"

Wong studied the young man in front of him, his expression growing increasingly strange.

This person felt familiar.

Like an old friend.

Yet Wong was certain he had never met him.

Noah's aura was unmistakable.

Sorcerer.

And a very powerful one.

If Wong had ever encountered someone like this, he would never forget.

"Alright," Noah said calmly. "Let me introduce myself."

"Noah Finnell. I studied at Hogwarts, then trained at Kamar-Taj under my master before serving as the guardian of the London Sanctum."

"Hogwarts? Guardian of the London Sanctum?" Wong's expression stiffened. "Isn't that Dennis?"

He grew more wary.

"Who is your master?"

Noah ignored the change in his expression and continued smiling.

"I'm currently the first heir to the Sorcerer Supreme."

"As for my master-"

"The Ancient One."

As he spoke, Noah raised his hand and drew a symbol.

Multiple sigils converged in the air.

The moment they formed, Wong and all the other sorcerers froze.

This was unmistakable.

A mark unique to Kamar-Taj.

Wong suddenly remembered something.

"You're not from this universe?"

"Mm." Noah nodded. "Honestly, I was worried you wouldn't figure that out."

"Damn it..." Wong muttered. "So this is what Strange meant by our only chance?"

He looked at Noah intently.

"Do we know each other in your universe?"

Noah answered simply.

"You're my assistant."

"You, me, and Mordo are fellow disciples."

He smiled faintly.

"So-do you think we know each other?"
