At the astounded looks on their faces, Duncan looked back up. Seeing the rest of the group staring at him pensively, he put down the Jaffa cake package before turning his attention back at them. Under their astounded eyes, he knelt before their very eyes. "I...I am sorry for what I had done before. Carmine and I... have history together, but split in... not so good terms. I was pretty mad when you decided to unilaterally call for her help, but that can't be blamed on you, cause I never did tell you guys my relationship with her..."
Taking another deep breath, Duncan forced a forlorn smile. "I won't tell you the relationship between us now, but maybe someday I will. One day, when I feel like it, maybe you'll learn our sad, sad story..."
Slapping his cheeks, he looked at Lewis. "Lewis, how many packages can you prepare today, and how long will it take to transport them to the harbour? Also, by the looks of things, seems to me that you could not completely automate the whole process, so for how long can the process run?"
Scratching his head, Lewis looked at the set-up, the crew, before turning back to Duncan. "Yeah, about that... For the first point, we can churn up to 10000 Jaffa cakes per day now, in shifts of 8 hours, and regarding transportation routes, we've tried our best to shorten the time as much as possible, so give or take 3 or 4 hours. Before I can research combustion engines, that's the best I can offer. Despite Beastmen being far more robust than Humans, they're still carbon-based beings at the end of the day, as well as being limited in numbers here, so we can only do one shift for now until we get either more trained personnel, or I can create a, as I've mentioned before, engines and finding a viable power source. So yeah, other than those issues, we're set to go..."
Smiling at the news, Duncan clapped Lewis hard on the back. "Yeah, I kinda expected it, you being a tier-2 and all. But this has exceeded my wildest imagination, and we can iron out the kinks later. Let's start shipping!"
With a final roar, Duncan began the Great Selling. Amidst the cheers from the rest of the group, Titus laid his eyes at the youngsters, especially Duncan, their faces now radiant with joy at their success. Hmm, hmm, hmm. Let them enjoy their success for now, they deserve it...

Walking down the busy streets of Carcaun, Mythas kicked a nearby pebble, sending it into the legs of a nearby Beastman. "Hey, watch it you little runt!" Waving his hands in apology, Mythas continued his journey, expression forlorn. Cynoples's (his girlfriend) birthday was coming up, and he wanted to surprise her with something unique.
But they were all dang expensive!
He tried searching for the cheapest jewellery there was, but they were still waaaayyyy outside his paycheck! Giving up after 10 days of constant foraging, he gave up. Man, I wish there was something that was cheap and fucking unique to surprise h- Hello, what's that...?
Outside one of Silvertree's many branches, an Elf was standing outside, wearing what appeared to be a type of cake mascot costume.
Curious, Mythas wandered closer, eager to know what it was. "...affa cakes, come and get your Jaffa cakes! Freshly baked, from the oven and the mind of Duncan the great! Come and get your fresh Jaffa cakes today! And it's only 25 Copper coins for half a dozen! You can try one for free!..."
Held in the silver tray on her hands were what appeared to be small Cikolet covered biscuits, bulging in the middle. Curious, Mythas approached the assistant, and took one to taste. Hope it's good...
Closing his eyes, he braced for the worst, and bit into it.
He was wonderstruck
Sweet, decadent Cikolet melted in his mouth, before being washed down by the sudden appearance of tart Smorange jam. Though the bitterness was overpowering, the Ciolet helped cover it. But the flavours were still fighting against each other.
That's when the cake base marched in
Without sound, it flooded over the jam and Cikolet battle, mixing, churning, until they mixed together into one flavour-packed bomb, lighting his entire mouth in a flavour-splosion.
It tastes just like heaven...
"Boss, gimme 3, no, 5 packets!"
"But sir-"
"Hurry and take my money!"
