Boom!
With a violent explosion, the doors of Silph Co. in Saffron City burst open, and a masked figure slowly walked inside.
"Sorry, but we're taking over here."
Hearing the masked man's words, the security guards of Silph Co. immediately threw out their Poké Balls.
"Go, Machamp! Defeat these guys!"
"Pidgeotto, go!"
"Get 'em, Electabuzz!"
Seeing that there was still resistance, Ash smiled and said, "Houndour, Houndoom, take care of them."
"Woof!" *2
With that, two figures dashed out from beside Ash and charged toward the released Pokémon. Houndoom shot a jet of flames at Machamp, which had just come out, engulfing it completely in a terrifying blaze.
Before Pidgeotto could even take off, it was seized by Houndour in a powerful Bite attack.
"Electabuzz, quickly help Pidgeotto!"
"Electabuzz!"
Upon hearing its trainer's command, Electabuzz unleashed a Thunderbolt toward Houndour. However, Houndour, noticing the Thunderbolt coming toward it, quickly flung Pidgeotto aside.
"Pidge!"
Accompanied by Pidgeotto's cry, after being bitten and then hit by Electabuzz's Thunderbolt, Pidgeotto fainted immediately, while Houndour took advantage of the moment to rush at Electabuzz and began to bite.
"Electabuzz, quickly use—"
Before Ash could finish, he issued a command to Houndoom.
"Flamethrower! Shut them up!"
"Roar!"
As Houndoom released a torrent of flames, the security guards were enveloped by the fire. Once the security team was eliminated, the employees of Silph Co. were thrown into chaos.
"Ah!!!!"
"Run!"
"Call the police!"
Watching the hall turn chaotic, Ash shrugged and patted Houndour beside him, saying, "Alright, since Electabuzz is down, you don't need to bite anymore."
"Woo~ Woof!"
Houndour released its jaws, letting Electabuzz, who had been knocked out, fall to the ground, motionless.
After taking care of the first floor's security, Ash turned to the Team Rocket members behind him and said, "Now, let's get to work! Eliminate all resisting enemies before the Boss arrives. I'll go take a look outside."
Seeing Ash's fierce demeanor, the Team Rocket members quickly replied, "Yes!" *N
As the grunts began moving to deal with the remaining resistance, Ash, along with Houndoom and Houndour, made their way to the outside of Silph Co. Just outside, the security forces of Saffron City were attacking the three Pokémon — Ash's Aggron, Nidoking, and Nidoqueen.
"Who are you?! Why are you attacking Silph Co.?"
One of the security personnel saw Ash emerge and quickly pulled out a megaphone, simultaneously releasing another batch of Pokémon.
Ash glanced at the Pokémon charging toward him, a smile crossing his masked face as he said, "Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Earthquake!"
"Roar!" *2
Upon hearing Ash's command, Nidoking and Nidoqueen roared together, and then both Pokémon slammed their fists into the ground, unleashing a unique energy.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake. Before the security personnel could figure out what was happening, giant rock swords started to rise from the ground, knocking away waves of attacking Pokémon. Each time one of these massive stone swords emerged, it sent a group of Pokémon flying. After the final massive rock sword broke through the surface, the last wave of Pokémon was thoroughly defeated, and the scene was completely under Team Rocket's control.
The Team Rocket members began to tie up all the guards temporarily, while Ash approached them and said, "Next time, remember not to waste words on your enemies. Now take them away. Saffron City is now in complete control of Team Rocket!"
"Understood!" *N
Then, Ash turned to Nidoking, Nidoqueen, and Aggron beside him and said, "You've all done well; the next part should be a lot simpler. Now we just need to wait for a troublesome girl to walk right to us. But before that..."
Ash slowly took out the badge that Sabrina had given him earlier and said, "This badge holds incredible power. It seems things are about to get very interesting. I wonder how those who need this badge will choose?" Hahaha!
Accompanied by a creepy laugh, Ash stored the golden badge away. A little distance away, Meowth and the others were quietly recording Ash's performance as Meowth commented, "Hmm, the Boss really pulls off this villain role well, but I wonder if he'll get a knock on the head from Big Sis Lyn when he gets back."
"Pika! Why are we recording this?"
"Of course, it's to gather intelligence! The Boss is using himself as bait to gauge the battle strength of this world. That way, we're prepared for anything, Meow."
As Meowth spoke, he glanced toward Silph Co. inside.
"Moreover, in this world, even the legendary Pokémon can be captured. Though we don't know their exact battle strength, the fact that this is possible is enough to put the Boss on high alert. Pikachu, I'm leaving your safety and that of Zigzagoon to you two. You both will be the surprise troops, best to protect the Boss."
"Pika! No problem!"
