Not even as we hand out the tickets, nor as we sit in our seats.
He doesn't let go of mine either.
Once the privacy screen is up, I turn to Jude, who is seated next to me, still gripping my hand in his. I gently remove the cap, his lush hair falling over his forehead and eyes. I gently push it back to look at his face, seeing that the stitches and the bandage are still holding.
"I look ugly now."
"Never."
I didn't bring anything, just my small backpack, as I didn't know if he would let me come with him. I had told Woo beforehand that I wanted to go with him, and he did get two tickets, however, I didn't know if I would ever board the plane.
I start rummaging through it, reaching for the tube I was given last night.
"I'm going to apply this ointment," I say as I fully remove his mask and gently push the hair back. He lets me, as he leans back, eyes on me. "It will help to heal faster."
