"Here are the keys. If there is anything you need, anything at all, I am just one phone call away, plus I live down the street too. I will be off now, see you soon."
The lovely woman leaves us, and I look at Miko with anticipation and a giddiness that cannot be explained. He looks at me, grinning, and then we look at the building in front of us, the place we will call our home in the next few months.
"wanna get in, or should we stand here a little more and look weird?" Miko asks in a laugh, and I join in.
"I am excited, can you tell?"
"You are literally vibrating, baby," he takes my suitcase together with his, and then we head towards the door. There is a concierge who opens the doors for us and bows in greeting.
"Hello," I chirp, and he greets us back.
"When you said something small, something cozy all my mind went to is broken lifts, run-down building, and such. I didn't want to even hope for a concierge."
