Chapter 174 - Chapter 173: Building a Portal

Outside, the roar of dragons echoed.

The gnome beside him immediately said, "Looks like the undead are attacking again. Get ready, buddy!"

Yang Tao flew out right away. Looking at the overwhelming wave of undead creatures in the distance, he noticed there were far more than when they invaded the One Piece world. On top of that, there were many high-level undead this time.

Seeing the massive army before him, Yang Tao couldn't help but sigh, "No wonder the Scourge could sweep across all of Azeroth!"

Dragons soared into the sky above the Wyrmrest Temple, breathing scorching fire at the intruders. The flames reduced countless undead to ashes, leaving even the most powerful necromancers shaking their heads in defeat.

"Something doesn't seem right. I remember the Lich King only sneaking in to dig up the Blue Dragonflight's ancestor's grave at this point. Since when did he become this strong?"

In Yang Tao's memory, the Wyrmrest Temple should have been rallying dragons to fight the crazed Blue Dragon Aspect, Malygos, not the Lich King.

But that didn't change his plans. Without hesitation, Yang Tao summoned his Pokémon. Their sudden appearance alerted the dragon army, but after helping to wipe out a large number of undead, the dragons refocused on the Scourge.

Frost Wyrms flew in, unleashing icy breath that dealt heavy damage to the dragon forces.

Yang Tao took to the sky, throwing healing potions into the battlefield. These potions healed the living upon contact, but for undead creatures, they caused massive damage.

The Scourge quickly noticed him and sent a swarm of Frost Wyrms to intercept.

Yang Tao watched them approach without a hint of worry.

"Just a few of them? Do they think I'm weak or something?"

He was about to call for Arceus to back him up when a massive bronze dragon suddenly appeared, blocking his path.

A clear, melodic voice came from the dragon—it was a female.

"Honored outsider, the Bronze Dragonflight's leader is waiting for you at the Wyrmrest Temple!"

Yang Tao was momentarily stunned. He didn't expect his presence to have already been discovered. Then again, it made sense. Nozdormu, the leader of the Bronze Dragonflight, was blessed by the Titans with the ability to observe time itself.

Since Nozdormu wanted to see him, Yang Tao didn't hesitate to return. He had come here to gather information, but what he found was a world vastly different from the Warcraft he knew.

As soon as he stepped inside the temple, a booming voice echoed from above.

"Powerful traveler from another world, I am at the top of the temple!"

Yang Tao quickly made his way up and saw Nozdormu, the Bronze Dragon Aspect, alongside Alexstrasza, the Red Dragon Queen, waiting for him.

Nozdormu lifted his head and gazed at him.

"Honored traveler, what brings you to our world?"

Yang Tao got straight to the point.

"Nozdormu, I'm here to gather information about the Burning Legion. My world is under threat, and recently, Kel'Thuzad of the Scourge invaded, causing massive destruction."

Alexstrasza's expression grew serious.

"Naxxramas went to your world? What's the situation now?"

Yang Tao thought about the floating necropolis currently in his world.

"Well… Kel'Thuzad has been defeated. And I, uh… turned Naxxramas into my personal airship."

Alexstrasza glanced outside at the two Arceus effortlessly wiping out the Scourge like they were stepping on ants. She gave a small nod.

"Outsider, the Burning Legion is lurking in the Void, waiting for the right moment to invade Azeroth. Right now, the Scourge is acting as their vanguard. No matter what, we must defeat the Lich King first if we want to uncover more about the Burning Legion."

"Then let me set up a portal so we can fight the Burning Legion together!" Yang Tao offered immediately. He was ready to link Azeroth to his world and put an end to the Legion's invasion.

Nozdormu nodded.

"Your arrival has changed Azeroth's fate. But compared to the destruction the Burning Legion would bring, this change is much more acceptable. You may establish a portal to our world."

Hearing this, Yang Tao couldn't help but feel that this Azeroth was nothing like the one he remembered. In the Warcraft he knew, someone like him—who disrupted the timeline—would have been Nozdormu's number one target for elimination.

"Has the Bronze Dragon King fallen? Has he turned into an Infinite Dragon King?"

The Infinite Dragons are what Bronze Dragons become when they fall under the influence of ancient evil gods. If Bronze Dragons exist to protect the timeline set by the Titans, then Infinite Dragons exist to change it.

But Yang Tao didn't care about any of that. Instead, he flew outside and started building a portal. Before long, a massive obsidian portal was completed.

He returned to his world and commanded Naxxramas to head to Azeroth.

As Naxxramas passed through the portal and once again arrived at Dragonblight, its enormous shadow made both the Alliance and Horde nervous.

This was the Scourge's strongest fortress, a nightmare that had scarred Azeroth forever.

Yang Tao's voice echoed: "Go! Wipe out the Scourge!"

At his command, countless black dots began falling from Naxxramas—hordes of advanced golems leaping down.

In his world, golems were like Iron Golems, immune to fall damage.

After bringing Naxxramas back to his world, Yang Tao had built a huge number of these high-level golems. This time, the army he deployed far exceeded the one he had used against Kel'Thuzad.

As soon as they landed, the golems charged at the Scourge army.

The undead forces were quickly scattered, and even the more powerful ones found themselves surrounded and beaten down by the relentless golems.

As time passed, the Scourge showed signs of retreat, but Yang Tao didn't give them the chance. He immediately ordered his golem army to press forward.

At this moment, he had become the center of the battlefield.

The dragons formed a protective circle around Naxxramas, blocking incoming attacks from frost wyrms.

Two massive guardian dragons landed on Naxxramas, taking on their elven forms as they approached Yang Tao.

Nozdormu, astonished, said, "I never expected you to command such a vast army of golems. Perhaps today, the Scourge will finally become nothing more than a forgotten memory in time!"

Yang Tao nodded. "The Scourge was never my real concern. What worries me is the Burning Legion behind them."

Alexstrasza, the Queen of Dragons, spoke up. "The Burning Legion is far too powerful. Even though the fallen titan Sargeras has vanished, both Archimonde the Defiler and Kil'jaeden the Deceiver are still threats we cannot ignore. If we are to resist the Burning Legion, we must unite all living beings!"
