CHAPTER 7
"What do you expect of me then? He is my father and the only one Left for me in this world. But I don't expect you to know to know or understand my feelings, since you still have both parents with you. I just want my Dad, That's all." Kiara spoke almost in tiers making them fall in silence.
"Alright, enough! I don't have time for all these emotional whatever. Hand it over and let it all end here." Kora annoyed voice sounded.
Enduring the pains on her body, Kiara forced herself up with a little groan. She approached him with slight and hesitating steps.
Standing right in front of him, she slowly moved her hands to her neck, removing the necklace but still held it framely in her right hand. Bringing it up to his face, kora smirked in satisfaction. He brought his hand readily forward to accept it.
She brought up a sad smile while about placing it on this palm. Unexpectedly, she gripped it back and hit it across his face leaving everyone astonishingly surprised.
Kora who didn't see that coming, fell to the ground while holding the side been whipped by the necklace, which was now dripping blood.
The necklace indeed is his weakness.
Soon, his face and body slowly began to age like an older being. He coughed out and it was accompanied by blood.
"What have you done?!" He spat in anger as his face slowly began to deform.
"I'm just fulfilling the promise I made. I have vowed to destroy you Kora, even if that's the last thing I'll do." She smiled deviously as he groaned.
"Quick start, it is obvious you want the necklace not just to destroy the world but also because it could destroy you." Everyone's eyes shown in surprise at her remark.
"And how did I know that?" She continues. "Same way I found this necklace. In the same old martch box, which belonged to my mum. And in it, lies the power and it uses. And also, you are bonded with it and your powers has been extracted." Kiara stated proudly. Soon, Kora erupt with a laughter.
"Foolish girl, don't you know that with my powers with you, you would become my puppet and under my control soon enough. And then, you would be the one to destroy the world." He boosted.
"Oh I know, and I rather die than become like you." Kiara replied framely and walked towards a lava.
"This necklace is bound with it's owner, the person who is in charge of it and once the necklace is been destroyed then that's the end of it's owner's life too. I don't mind risking my life to save my world. My dad has always taught me to put others first before myself and that's exactly what I am going to do." Kiara said in saddness then lifted the necklace up to the hot lava.
"No Kiara, don't do it."
They yelled out as the demon freed them and perished.
Peter was back to his senses and was surprised by what was going on.
"Kira please don't do it, you are going to kill yourself. If you destroy the necklace not only Kora but you also will lose your life." Pearl cried out in tears as everyone pleaded to her.
"I am sorry guys but I have to do this." Kiara cried out sadly.
While everyone became distracted, pleading to Kiara,Kora stood up gently without anyone noticing and ran to Kiara in order to grab the necklace from her hand but it slipped and fell into the lava leaving everyone shocked and speechless as they watched the necklace fall into the lava and couldn't do anything.
Kora fell to the ground as he began to bleed from his nose and mouth and was getting older every seconds until he died and turned into flames then disappeared.
A sharp pain began to raise in Kiara's stomach. Suddenly she began spitting out blood as she became weaker.
Jace quickly ran and caught her then she fell on his hand as she knelt down.
"Kiara! Kiara!!" everyone began to panic, shouting her name in worries.
"Kiara, please don't leave us." Jace pleaded as he held her hands thightly.
"Now I am at the edge of death, I might as well just pour out my heart." Kiara forced a smile almost in tears as she struggles to get the words out her mouth.
"I have always been so attracted to you for a long time, right from the first day you arrived at school as the new student. I have always had a crush on you even till now but never got the courage to talk to you until now." Kiara struggled to say as she was still spitting out blood and tears rolled down her eyes with a smile.
" I am never going to let anything happen to you,so please just keep your eyes opened." Jace yelled out.
"But for how long,how long can I keep my eyes opened to see you all again. You and I both know that even a doctor won't be able to save me. So take care of yourselves and especially to you Dad. I love you all so much." She uttered slowly as tears rolled down her eyes slowly, it began to close. Everyone knew it was the pic end already. She was dying. sadly, tiers slipped off their faces as they had nothing next to do.
Jace looked at her as her held her hands closely then kissed her. Everyone gasped in surprise and thought he was out of his mind.
"What on earth are you doing Jace, have you lost it completely!" Luke yelled out as he tried to stop Jace but was held back by the SLDs.
"Don't try to stop him because he is actually saving her life, SLD Milson said.
"What do you mean,how is he saving her ,by kissing her?" Pearl asked as they all became confused.
