He had some idea that the woman before him had come to get rid of him because of the bounty on his head, but looking at the woman, she wasn't in a mood to make conversation.
She stayed quiet, turning her gaze to the other people in the room. It was a sorry sight to witness. Grown men frozen in terror.
Why are these men all frozen up? Is it not that they do not believe in their hero's strength?
"Have you come here for my head?" Hero asked again, grabbing the woman's full attention towards him.
Without a word, she giggled a bit, turning her smile into a grin as her eyes widened, revealing the shadows below them.
