But she was unaware of them due to one of the souls having fragments of his memories from when he was still alive in his past life. The other soul had completely forgotten everything, but bit by bit as the individual called Hajime journeys this new world, the memories of the other soul would start to retain giving him split personalities.

Back at Gorthok's mansion, two years had passed since Hajime had first arrived there.


Ever since the undead incident in the walls, he had been training with Kiku, and at the same time, making sure that nobody noticed them.


Though the task Kiku had been giving him was a little intense, for example, she always told him to strike her as hard as he could, but if he didn't do any damage to her, she would punch back.


She had her own reasons for doing this, though she didn't tell Hajime what those reasons were, and all Hajime could do was take her punches head-on, because if he tried to hide, Kiku would always find him in an instant.


Nonetheless, she always tried her best to do her chores in the mansion, and that was by letting others do her job for her while she observed quietly from a distance.
