"Hrmp," Hajime grunted as he landed on one of the rocks, a strange kind of rock, soft and oddly bouncy for something so heavy. But even with the odd cushion beneath him, he wasn't out of danger. He had to put as much distance as possible between himself and the titan before those colossal feet came crashing down.
Where did this thing even come from?
He scrambled to his feet, only to realize the rocks beneath him weren't quite ready to let him go. Slippery, unforgiving, they held him stubbornly in place, forcing him to watch as the titan made its next move.
A deep groan rumbled from the titan as it took a slow, deliberate step forward. Its flashing red eyes scanned the area, faltering, seemingly unable to pinpoint Hajime's exact location from his position on the slippery rocks.
Hajime froze, searching desperately for an escape.
Dang it. Why are these stupid rocks so slippery? Don't they get that I need to get out of here?
