Adrien was slowly chipping it's health away with his attacks. He realized that if he increases the shadows essence he poured into a construct, it gained corrosive properties that dealt great damage. But Adrien was also taking his fair share of damage. Most of the beasts here could fight on par with him so his life was on the line anytime he fought a powerful beast but, within himself, that this was not strength. Suddenly a bone staff came swinging out of nowhere crashing into his chest when he least expected it.

Adrien had to finish the fight fast. He leapt onto the wall and with his increased agility, he shot towards the boss's frame. He landed onto it's back and began delivering massive consecutive blows draining it's health at a rapid pace.

Adrien leapt back in fear for his life as the boss experienced it's boosts in power. It's stats slightly nerfed his if not for the equipment on him. He needed to finish off the boss fast or he could forfeit his life. Unknown to him, at that moment, something within the depths of his soul shifted. Using the remainder of his Essence and forming it into a scythe of pure shadow, he launched forward with one goal in mind, to defeat the foe in front of him. It felt like a primal instinct to overcome any adversity in his way. He felt energized and burst of with remarkable speed and jumping onto the priest's staff, he used it to push himself towards the priest face and mustered all his strength and momentum to crash the blade of the scythe right into the priest head.
