Time once again paused as Mathieu began fixing himself, but in the meantime, Rael noticed that he was no longer moving backward, almost as if time wasn't affecting him anymore.
And when Mathieu finally returned, he stared at Rael warily.
"Who are you?" Mathieu asked coldly. "You don't even know what Laws are, so how could you resist one of them?"
