A nanny?
Just what kind of bullshit was she trying to pull?
"What are you talking about?" Anastasia asked coldly. "A nanny for what? You want me to watch your dragon garden?"
"Mmm... Not at all," Vatyra dismissed. "Actually, I heard a lot of stuff about you through Evelyn, and I know about Lucien and how he was manipulating both you and Kareth all this time. Clearly, he was manipulating me too since I had given him the feather."
Having said that, she extended her hand and then snapped her fingers.
Nothing seemed to happen, but clearly, something did.
"I just destroyed the feather I had given him. If he were to use it while he was in his main body, and I came there unknowingly, then I would get killed. Can't be having any of that, now can I?"
Still, the banter was short lived.
"You did not answer my question," Anastasia said.
Vatyra smiled and gave Rael a mischievous smirk before turning her gaze back to Anastasia.
