Chapter 565 - Chapter 565: Gratitude

Naruto was slowly recovering.

The golden color returned to his hair, and his face changed from pale to rosy. Kabuto stayed right beside him, watching his vital signs stabilize. Only when Naruto's chakra flow evened out did Kabuto finally let out a long breath of relief.

Orochimaru walked over as well. After Kabuto helped Naruto sit up, Orochimaru personally performed a thorough physical examination. Only after checking Naruto's pulse, chakra pathways, and overall condition did he relax even slightly.

Naruto gave a small smile.

"Uncle Snake, don't worry. I've recovered."

Orochimaru frowned.

"This sensation is… unpleasant, isn't it?"

Naruto nodded.

"Yeah. Now I finally understand how painful it was when Nagato used this technique. You can literally feel your life force draining away."

Orochimaru sighed quietly.

"Of course. The Six Paths — Powers of Heaven and Earth — it's essentially a forbidden technique that violates natural laws."

Not far away, Rin had already been completely resurrected.

The moment her consciousness returned, she felt something strange—her heart was beating. She touched her chest in disbelief. Then she touched her face. It was warm.

Warm. Alive.

Obito rushed at her immediately, grabbed her, and pulled her tightly into his arms.

"Rin! You're resurrected—you're really resurrected—hahaha!"

He laughed uncontrollably as he lifted her off her feet and spun her in the air.

Obito was ecstatic. His heart felt like it was bursting open from too much happiness.

Rin was also overwhelmed. Even if she had felt conflicted about being resurrected at first, the sensation of life returning—the awareness of breath and warmth—brought tears to her eyes despite herself.

"Obito! Stop spinning and put me down!"

Rin patted his shoulder repeatedly, signaling him to stop.

Obito finally stopped and set her down while still holding her hands, never wanting to let go. Feeling the undeniable warmth of Rin's palms, Obito's eyes softened.

She was real. Alive. Truly resurrected.

"Obito, come with me," Rin said quickly.

She led him over to where Naruto was standing.

"Naruto… thank you."

Rin bowed deeply. Without Naruto's Six Paths Resurrection, she could never have returned to life in a complete, living body.

Obito bowed just as deeply.

"Thank you, Naruto. Thank you for bringing Rin back."

Naruto smiled lightly.

"You're welcome. I promised you I would do this. Now, that promise is fulfilled."

Orochimaru and Kabuto stood beside Naruto silently watching. Inwardly, both of them sighed.

Including Rin, this was now the fourth person Naruto had completely resurrected since forming his organization.

Yahiko, Itachi, Shisui… and now Rin.

Before, Nagato had used his own life force to protect Naruto. But this time, Naruto had stepped forward himself and taken the risk.

Orochimaru looked at Naruto with a complicated expression. Even though Naruto had used protective methods to reduce the burden, forbidden techniques were forbidden techniques. They always left an impact on the body.

Naruto looked recovered, but he would still need rest and careful maintenance afterward.

"Naruto," Orochimaru said, "you need to take care of yourself. Don't make any major movements for a while."

Naruto nodded.

"Thanks, Uncle Snake. I know."

Kabuto smiled.

"Don't worry, Naruto. I'll develop some nutritional supplements for you."

Naruto made a helpless face.

"All right, all right. You can develop it first."

He then glanced toward Obito and Rin, who were still standing together with bright, relieved smiles on their faces.

"Obito, take Rin with you. And don't return to Konoha for now. Go somewhere peaceful. Travel normally."

Obito nodded immediately.

He understood exactly why Naruto said that—Rin's resurrection would cause a commotion if she appeared in the village. At this moment of peace, resurrecting someone with such a well-known death would provoke unnecessary noise. This wasn't like resurrecting Shisui or Itachi during wartime.

Going away discreetly was clearly the best choice.

"Okay, Naruto. I understand. I'll take Rin and leave right now."

Obito prepared to activate Kamui—

"Wait."

Rin spoke, stopping him.

Naruto, Obito, Orochimaru, and Kabuto all turned toward her.

Rin took a breath, then said clearly,

"I want to go to Minato's home first. I want Minato and Kushina to see me… like this."

Naruto's expression softened.

He understood. Minato and Kushina had treated both Rin and Obito like their own children. For Rin, being resurrected meant she wanted to share her gratitude and joy with them before anything else.

Naruto nodded.

"No problem."

He looked at Obito.

"Take Rin to meet my parents."

Obito hummed in acknowledgement and activated Kamui.

The spiraling vortex of space-time opened, and both he and Rin were sucked in, disappearing instantly.

After they left, Orochimaru glanced at Naruto.

"Naruto… have you ever considered completely resurrecting your own parents?"

Hearing this, Kabuto also turned to Naruto, curious about the answer.

Naruto thought for a few seconds before smiling gently.

"They wouldn't agree. And honestly, I understand why. For them, being able to see me again, seeing me grown and married—that's already enough. If they were fully resurrected… they wouldn't feel it's right."

He continued, voice calm but firm.

"And with war bound to happen in the future… I can't watch them fight again. I can't watch them die a second time. Compared to that, being revived with Impure World Reincarnation actually protects them more."

Orochimaru nodded slowly.

"I see."

"All right," Naruto said softly. "I'll head back now. Thanks for today. Uncle Snake, Kabuto… thank you."

Kabuto smiled.

"It's nothing."

Orochimaru added,

"Go rest. Eat well. Recover."

Naruto felt a warm sense of gratitude and nodded.

"I will."

Meanwhile—Minato and Kushina's home.

Obito and Rin materialized inside using Kamui.

Minato sensed the incoming space-time distortion instantly and appeared in the living room.

Obito stepped out with Rin by his side.

Minato's expression brightened.

"Obito, Rin. You're here."

Hearing his voice, Kushina emerged as well.

"Oh! Rin, Obito—you came! Come, sit, sit!"

Rin smiled brightly.

"Minato-sensei, Kushina-sensei!"

She hurried forward and hugged Kushina tightly.

"Master's wife!"

Kushina laughed, looked at Minato, then at Obito, shaking her head warmly.

"What's gotten into this kid?"

Rin giggled. Minato watched with a soft, fond expression—but suddenly, something caught his eye.

Rin's face. Her eyes. Her expression.

Something was different.

Kushina noticed it at the same moment. She frowned.

"Rin… your eyes…"

Obito stepped forward and explained with a smile,

"Master's wife… Rin has been completely resurrected."

Kushina froze. She looked at Minato, and when he didn't deny it, she understood it was true.

"How… how is this possible? A complete resurrection…?"

She touched Rin's hands. Warm. Then her cheek. Soft and alive.

Minato exhaled slowly, then smiled gently.

"Rin… congratulations."

Rin smiled with emotion.

"Thank you, Minato-sensei. And… everything is thanks to Naruto. He was the one who resurrected me."

Minato wasn't surprised. He had already guessed it the moment he saw Rin alive.

Kushina, however, looked worried. She knew the cost of a complete resurrection. Only Naruto and Sasuke had the eyes to perform Six Paths techniques.

If Naruto resurrected Rin…

Then he…

"Did Naruto… hurt himself?"

Seeing Kushina's concern, Obito quickly reassured her.

"It's fine, Master's wife. Naruto is all right. If he wasn't completely safe, I would never have allowed Rin to be resurrected."

Kushina placed a hand over her heart, relieved.

"That's good… that's good."
