Chapter 568 - Chapter 568 – Hinata Is Pregnant!

In Konoha Village, Naruto had just used the Six Paths: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique to resurrect Rin. His body was strained, but as expected, Orochimaru immediately stepped in, frowning deeply.

"Enough moving around. You need to rest," Orochimaru insisted, his tone unusually stern. "Your chakra pathways are overworked. Don't make me restrain you."

Naruto scratched his head and smiled nervously. "It's fine, really! Nagato used this technique three times and he's still okay. Plus, I've got Kurama helping me recover. I'm not in danger."

Kabuto adjusted his glasses and sighed. "Naruto, please listen to Orochimaru-sama. Rest. Your body isn't invincible. Also… your nutrient solution is still being developed."

Seeing both Orochimaru and Kabuto united against him, Naruto finally gave up. "Alright, alright… I'll rest."

A little later, Minato and Kushina came to check on Naruto, talking about Obito and Rin. After some time, they headed downstairs. Before leaving, Kushina stopped Hinata with a gentle smile.

"Hinata, could you make some soup for Naruto? He needs something warm to replenish his strength."

Hinata nodded obediently. "Of course."

But Kushina continued watching Hinata. Her eyes squinted slightly, observing her daughter-in-law with a knowing gaze. Then, she gently grabbed Hinata's hand.

"Hinata… are you pregnant?"

Hinata froze. Her eyes widened—then she looked away shyly and nodded. "I… I haven't told Naruto yet. Before he used the technique, I went to the hospital for a routine checkup. They confirmed it. I'm… pregnant."

Kushina gasped loudly, her eyes lighting up with pure joy. "Really!? I knew something felt different about you! Your stomach has a tiny little curve!"

She immediately became frantic with excitement.

"Oh, did the doctor check properly? How many weeks? Did they tell you everything is normal?"

Hinata smiled shyly at her mother-in-law's enthusiasm. "The doctor said it's just passed four weeks. I can eat normally, and everything is healthy."

Kushina nodded vigorously. "Good, good! I want to tell Naruto right away. That boy better take care of you properly!"

Hinata gently held her arm. "Wait—Mom, Naruto used a forbidden technique. I should be the one taking care of him."

Kushina pouted. "How can you say that? You're important too! No—here's what we'll do. I'll come and cook for you every day. I'm free anyway. I'll cook, clean, whatever you need. No arguments!"

Hinata didn't protest and simply nodded—there was no stopping Kushina when she was excited.

Kushina squeezed her hand lovingly and looked Hinata over from head to toe, filled with pride.

What a wonderful daughter-in-law… blessed by the heavens.

Kushina suddenly remembered Naruto upstairs. "I need to tell them!" she exclaimed, rushing off.

Upstairs, Naruto and Minato were still talking when Kushina burst in.

"Minato, Naruto! I have great news!"

Minato stood. Naruto tilted his head. Kushina grinned.

"HINATA IS PREGNANT!"

"What!?" Minato practically jumped in the air. He rushed to Kushina, holding her by the shoulders. "Are you serious?! Kushina, you're not joking!?"

Kushina laughed. "Of course it's true! Hinata told me herself. Why are you more excited than Naruto?"

Minato realized how exaggerated he looked and cleared his throat—but his joy was obvious. "How can I not be excited!? I'm going to be a grandfather!"

Naruto froze for a second—then bolted downstairs.

He reached Hinata in a heartbeat. "Hinata!! Is it true?"

Blushing deeply, Hinata nodded. "Yes… I found out the day before yesterday. I wanted to tell you, but you were busy and exhausted so… I waited."

Naruto scratched his cheek guiltily. "I've been so focused on everything lately… I'm sorry. I should've been paying more attention."

Hinata shook her head quickly. "No, Naruto. I understand. I always have."

He hugged her gently, burying his face in her hair.

Upstairs, Minato and Kushina watched from the staircase, smiling warmly.

Kushina whispered, "Minato, doesn't this remind you of when we were young?"

Memories flashed in Minato's mind. He chuckled softly. "Yes… it really does."

Downstairs, Naruto placed a hand carefully on Hinata's abdomen.

"Do you feel anything yet?" he asked quietly.

Hinata smiled. "Not yet. The doctor said it's still just an embryonic disk."

Naruto nodded and kept his hand there, trying to sense even the faintest sign of life. Hinata watched him lovingly.

"You… met him before, right?" she asked softly.

Naruto looked up, surprised she noticed. "Maybe. I'm not completely sure. Things changed because you got pregnant earlier than in my previous life."

Hinata smiled brightly. "It's a boy, isn't it?"

Naruto nodded. "Yeah. The first one is a boy. The second will be a girl."

Hinata's eyes softened. "Whether it's true or not… they're our children. That won't change anything."

Naruto pulled her close. "Hinata… thank you."

Hinata's voice trembled slightly. "And I thank you… for being in my life at all."

Minato and Kushina came down afterward. Kushina immediately gave instructions.

"Naruto, from now on, Hinata shouldn't be doing anything tiring. I'll be here every day to cook, clean, whatever is needed."

Minato added, "And I'll handle groceries. I have experience taking care of a pregnant woman, after all."

The two exchanged proud smiles. Because they had died young—on the very night Naruto was born—they often projected a mature aura. But deep inside, they were still a youthful couple rediscovering life alongside their son.

Naruto laughed warmly. "Alright. Thank you, Mom. Thank you, Dad."

Kushina waved him off. "This is nothing! Taking care of my daughter-in-law and my future grandchild is my duty!"

She grew emotional. "It feels… unreal. One moment I was giving birth to you, Naruto. Then suddenly, you were grown. Now you're married… and a father."

Minato gently wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Come, let's go buy groceries before the shops close."

Kushina wiped her eyes and nodded. The couple left together, chatting and teasing each other as they walked.

After they left, Naruto guided Hinata to the sofa, sitting beside her.

He rested a hand on her belly again. "Hinata… really. How do you feel?"

Hinata placed her hand over his. "Happy. Calm. A little nervous. But mostly… grateful."

Naruto let out a long breath. He knew Boruto would be born early in this life. In his previous life, Hinata's pregnancy hadn't started this soon.

But this time… he would be present from the very beginning.

Maybe he could train his son earlier… protect him better… be the father he wasn't before.

Hinata leaned on his shoulder. Naruto held her tightly.

No matter how much the world changed… this—their family—was the one thing he would protect above all.
