Chapter 567 - Chapter 567 – Play

It was just past noon. Warm sunlight poured across the sky, bright and golden, and a pleasant sea breeze drifted gently over the land.

"Ah! The long-lost sunshine, and the wind blowing on my face… it feels so comfortable!"

Rin opened her arms wide, embracing the sunlight fully as she breathed in the fresh air. Her eyes closed for a moment, savoring the warmth and peace she had missed for so long.

Obito stood behind her, watching silently. Seeing Rin like this—alive, smiling, at peace—filled his chest with a profound warmth that he hadn't felt in years. Happiness, real happiness, bloomed inside him.

He walked forward and came to stand beside her. With a soft smile, he asked, "Rin, today is your rebirth. What do you want to do most right now? Think about it. Whatever it is, we'll experience it together."

Rin thought for a moment, then smiled warmly. "I want to buy a light blue dress first. I always wanted one before I died, but… I never got the chance to buy it."

Obito laughed softly. "No problem. Let's buy it now."

Rin's smile faltered slightly. "But we can't appear in crowded places… it's too dangerous."

Obito waved a hand dismissively. "Oh, we can't appear in Konoha Village. Everyone there knows us. But outside? There are still plenty of people who don't know me. We can go boldly."

Hearing that, Rin's face instantly lit up.

"Really?"

Obito nodded. "When have I ever lied to you? Let's go."

He gently took her hand, activated Kamui, and the space around them distorted. In a swirl of chakra, the two vanished from the clearing.

Moments later, they materialized in a busy coastal city with a bustling commercial street stretching ahead of them.

Rin looked around with curiosity. "Obito… where is this place?"

"This is a country made up of islands," Obito explained. "The Land of the Sea. Far away from the Five Great Nations. This island is the capital."

Rin looked into the distance—sure enough, a vast shimmering ocean met the horizon.

"Haha, so we can go to the beach?"

Obito nodded. "Yes. But first, let's get you that dress."

Hand in hand, they walked into the heart of the commercial district.

They soon reached a stylish clothing shop filled with elegant and modern island fashion. Bright fabrics hung neatly on racks, and the air carried the faint smell of perfumes and sea breeze.

A young saleswoman approached with a bright smile. "Hello! Welcome to Alice Clothing Store. I'm Aoki, your clerk today!"

Obito nodded politely. "Please recommend some light blue dresses."

Aoki beamed. "Of course! Please follow me."

She led them to a display of beautiful island-style dresses. Soft blues, sky patterns, flowing fabrics—light, airy, and perfect for Rin.

"These are the newest designs," Aoki said enthusiastically. "Light blue, inspired by the sea and sky. They'd look beautiful on your sister!"

Rin gently picked up one of the dresses and held it in front of a mirror. A happy, gentle smile appeared on her face.

Aoki commented cheerfully, "Your sister will look even better once she puts it on!"

Obito coughed lightly. "She's my girlfriend."

Aoki froze, then clasped her hands in apology. "Oh! I'm so sorry! My mistake! Well—what can I say? You have amazing taste. Your girlfriend is beautiful! Hahaha!"

Rin flushed and hid behind the dress shyly.

Obito chuckled. "Rin, go try it on."

Aoki eagerly encouraged her too until Rin reluctantly agreed.

Obito watched her with a warmth he couldn't hide. He'd already decided—no matter what, he was buying all of them.

Aoki pulled out a small calculator and calculated the total price. Obito reached into his pocket and handed her the money without hesitation.

"Aoki, right? All three—no matter how she feels about them."

Aoki's eyes sparkled. "Of course! Thank you!"

She could tell this man wasn't short of money.

Rin tried on all three dresses. Each time she stepped out, Obito was stunned speechless.

Rin, blushing, asked quietly, "How is it?"

Obito grinned. "Like a fairy descending to earth."

Aoki joined in. "Miss, you look amazing in every one of them! Sir, you're very lucky!"

Rin shyly smiled, then looked at Obito. "Tell me… which one is the prettiest?"

Obito understood that she wanted to know which one to buy.

He waved casually. "All three are beautiful. I already bought them."

Rin's eyes widened. "Ah?!"

Aoki quickly packed the dresses Rin had tried on and handed two boxes to Obito. He took them and turned to Rin with a smile.

"Let's go. You can wear the one you have on. Three in total."

With that, he took Rin by the hand and led her out, saying goodbye to Aoki.

Once outside, the sun cast warm rays over their faces as they walked, Rin holding her new dresses.

Rin pouted lightly. "Why did you buy all of them?"

Obito looked at her with soft eyes. "Because you look beautiful in them. Let's go—I'll take you to the beach."

Rin couldn't help but smile at his joy.

They reached the beach soon after. They took off their shoes, set their things down, and ran across the sand barefoot. Rin held up her skirt as she splashed through shallow water, laughing brightly while Obito chased after her.

For a moment, Obito felt like the world was perfect.

After playing by the sea, the two went to the local amusement park.

Rin changed into one of her new dresses—a fresh light blue one—since the first dress was soaked. She looked radiant and full of life.

Their first stop was bumper cars. Obito maneuvered his car skillfully, dodging others and glancing at Rin from time to time. Rin, gripping the handles tightly, let out nervous and excited laughs.

Then they rode the carousel. Obito helped Rin onto a white wooden horse, while he sat on a black one beside her. The gentle music played as the carousel turned, the two rising and falling in rhythm. The warm lights made everything feel almost magical.

And so they played until the sky turned dark.

That evening, Obito took Rin to a local seafood restaurant, famous for its fresh catches. They enjoyed grilled fish, steamed shellfish, and flavorful local dishes. It was their first official date, and both of them were glowing with happiness.

After dinner, Obito held Rin's hand and led her back to the quiet beach. The stars glittered above the calm waves, and the cool night breeze brushed against their faces.

They sat together on a bench by the sea, watching the night tide and recalling the day's memories.

Obito gently wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "Rin… I had so much fun today. Thank you for being with me."

Rin rested her head lightly against him. "Obito… everything today feels like a dream. I'm afraid I'll wake up at any moment."

Obito tightened his hold, as if to anchor her in reality.

The two sat close, listening to the sound of the waves, sharing the warmth of each other's presence.

For that moment, nothing else mattered—only the quiet, simple happiness they had finally found.
