Naruto wasn't particularly worried about the arrival of Ōtsutsuki Momoshiki and Ōtsutsuki Kinshiki. Out of all the enemies he had faced, these two were well within his power to handle. With his current strength — the Six Paths chakra, his own Rinnegan, Sage Mode, Kurama, and the Sharingan embedded in his prosthetic arm — Naruto knew he could overwhelm both without even needing Sasuke's help.
Still, he didn't underestimate the danger behind them.
Toneri stood beside him on the moon, his expression serious but calm. Naruto stared at him and warned firmly:
"Toneri, I don't know if those two will try to find you when they arrive, but listen… don't meet them head-on. If they come for you, you must avoid direct confrontation."
Toneri nodded. He understood Naruto's meaning immediately. "I know what you're trying to say. I understand."
Naruto added another warning, his tone slightly sharper. "Also — what did I tell you last time? If you need me, don't try scanning me with your Tenseigan. Just activate the Flying Thunder God seal I placed on your arm. I'll sense it instantly and teleport to you."
Toneri nodded again. "This time, I only used the Tenseigan because I had already activated it to locate their position. After scanning them, I used the same activation to contact you. That way, when you arrived, I could show you the situation immediately."
"That makes sense," Naruto replied. He understood that activating the Tenseigan took energy, and Toneri naturally preferred doing everything in one burst rather than wasting chakra.
Toneri then glanced into the starry sky and asked quietly, "Naruto… are you planning to fight them on Earth, or…"
Naruto could hear something hidden behind Toneri's tone — hesitation, perhaps concern. He studied Toneri's face and said, "Just say what you're thinking."
Toneri took a breath and began calmly, "According to what you told me, these two Ōtsutsuki absorb chakra and eat it. They will definitely use large-scale ninjutsu and cause massive destruction. If a battle like that happens on Earth, the casualties will be immeasurable."
He paused for several seconds, thinking through every detail, then continued:
"If that's the case… I propose something."
Naruto raised an eyebrow. "Go on."
Toneri looked him straight in the eye. "I can continue tracking their distance. Once I detect they're approaching the Earth, I will lure them toward the moon and confront them here. Then I will activate your Flying Thunder God seal, and you can teleport here to fight them on the moon."
Naruto considered the idea seriously.
The moon — an artificial celestial body created through the power of Hagoromo — was mostly empty rock and old ruins. It didn't house civilians or fragile ecosystems. A large-scale battle wouldn't endanger innocent lives. And as long as they stayed far from Toneri's palace, the property damage wouldn't matter.
After a few seconds, Naruto nodded. "Yes. That's a good plan. Very good."
Toneri smiled slightly, relieved. "Then let's make this the plan. I'll monitor their movements. Once they approach, I'll engage them and contact you. You'll teleport up and fight them here."
"No problem," Naruto said. "But if they ignore the moon and go straight for Earth, then stay where you are. Sasuke and I can take them down."
Toneri answered immediately, "Understood. We'll follow that plan."
Naruto went over a few more details with Toneri, then activated Flying Thunder God to teleport back to Konoha.
The moment Naruto landed in the village, he rushed toward the first person he needed to speak to — Sasuke.
He headed to the Uchiha residence first, but Sasuke wasn't home. Only Mikoto and Fugaku were there, relaxing after lunch.
Mikoto spotted Naruto immediately. "Oh, Naruto, come in!"
Naruto shook his head. "No, Aunt Mikoto. Since Sasuke's not here, I won't intrude."
Mikoto laughed softly. "Don't go yet — at least come inside for something to eat."
Naruto waved both hands frantically. "No, no, it's okay. Really. I have something urgent to do. I'll head out first."
He was about to leave when Mikoto grabbed his sleeve lightly. "Before you rush off, let me ask you something."
Naruto blinked. "Sure, Aunt. What is it?"
Mikoto smiled warmly. "I heard Hinata is pregnant?"
Naruto froze. "Uh— how did you know?"
Mikoto covered her mouth with a small laugh. "I ran into your parents while grocery shopping. Your mother told me."
Naruto's shoulders dropped in understanding. That sounded exactly like Kushina.
Mikoto continued, still smiling. "Since you're here… I want to ask for a favor. Sasuke has dated two girls now — thanks to your advice. But talking alone won't mean anything unless he takes the next step."
Naruto blinked. "Next step?"
Mikoto sighed dramatically. "Naruto, the Uchiha clan has been revived, but the only ones who can continue the bloodline right now are Sasuke, Itachi, and Shisui. I can't push Itachi. I can't push Shisui. Only Sasuke. And he's driving me crazy!"
Naruto choked back a laugh. So THAT was what she wanted from him.
"Okay, Aunt Mikoto. I do need to talk to Sasuke anyway, so I'll help convince him."
Mikoto lit up instantly. "Thank you, Naruto! He doesn't listen to me or his father — but he listens to you."
Naruto nodded and left quickly.
Once he was far enough away, he stopped walking and switched to a far more efficient method: Flying Thunder God.
He flicked his wrist, activated a mark he had previously placed on Sasuke, and vanished with a buzz.
A second later, Naruto appeared inside a room.
And froze.
His eyes widened in shock. "The hell—?!"
Even Naruto, who had seen insane things in his life, never expected THIS sight.
Sasuke was in bed.
With Sakura on one side.
And Karin on the other.
Naruto teleported away instantly out of pure survival instinct.
In the next heartbeat, he reappeared on the moon beside Toneri again, face bright red.
Toneri stared at him blankly. "Why are you back again?"
Naruto coughed awkwardly. "Uh— came to… look at the scenery. Yeah. The scenery. Needed some fresh air."
Toneri frowned. "To look at the stars?"
Naruto nodded vigorously like his life depended on it.
Toneri eyed Naruto's flushed face suspiciously. "If you only came to look at the scenery, why are you blushing this much? Are you lacking oxygen?"
Naruto looked away, absolutely mortified.
Toneri had no idea he had just saved Naruto from the most traumatizing moment of his adult life.
