In the morning, Annette woke up to the smell of food filling the laboratory room. With her body still weak, she tried to stand and walk, though her legs felt like jelly. Along her path, traces of white fluid still dripping from between her thighs stained the floor. On the table, a plate of warm pancakes had already been served.
"You… cooked pancakes?" she asked softly.
"Yes," Allen replied briefly, then looked at her with full attention. "Do you need help getting to the bathroom?"
"No need…" Annette shook her head, then noticed the clothes Allen was wearing. "Are you leaving now?"
"Yes, there are some things I have to do, so I'm in a bit of a hurry," Allen answered.
Hearing that, Annette didn't protest. She only stayed silent, as if she understood that her new lover had important matters to take care of. After Annette finished her meal, Allen finally spoke.
"Annette… if I wanted to take you out of Umbrella secretly, would you come? You know, staying here is very dangerous, especially since your own husband has now become a target of Umbrella."
"Of course I would," Annette replied quickly, then lowered her head for a moment. "But… what about my daughter?"
"Don't worry about that," Allen reassured her. "I will deploy my mercenaries to get both of you out of here without anyone noticing."
"So… what do you say? Do you agree?"
"Of course," Annette looked at him with eyes full of determination, "as long as my daughter can come with me."
Allen gave a faint smile, then tried to tease her. "What about your husband?"
Annette's face immediately hardened. "Please… don't bring him up again. I'm sick of him."
She then leaned back comfortably on the sofa, at this moment completely naked without a single piece of clothing, gazing at Allen with slightly glimmering eyes. "Allen… about our relationship~"
Allen sat beside her, took her hand, then spoke in a serious tone. "Annette… I don't want this relationship to be just a one-night stand. I truly like you. That's why… I want you to be my woman."
Allen's words made tears well up at the corners of Annette's eyes. With a swirl of emotions inside her, she immediately pulled Allen's body into a long, passionate kiss. Their tongues entwined, their body heat mingling, until finally, with reluctance, they parted.
"You'd better go… I don't want your time to be held up any longer just because of me," Annette whispered, her voice trembling.
"Okay… then I'll send you a message later about the plan to escape from here," Allen replied gently before finally walking out of the room.
Annette watched Allen's back as he grew farther away, then let out a deep sigh. Her body was still trembling, especially down below. She then stood with slightly unsteady steps and made her way to the bathroom.
Once there, she turned on the hot water and let the tub fill to the brim. Annette slowly removed her clothes, feeling every brush of fabric leaving her skin, then stepped into the warm water. The heat made her body relax a little, but a sharp yet sweet ache still throbbed between her legs.
Her pussy pulsed strongly, as if still remembering Allen's hard penetration just moments ago. Even her ass was still quivering, demanding attention even though it had already been filled. Annette closed her eyes, sinking into the memory that had just happened. She held her belly, slightly worried that she might get pregnant — yet even so, she felt that carrying Allen's child would not be a bad thing.
After finishing her shower, Annette walked toward her husband's laboratory. Swish—the mechanical door slid open, revealing William, still completely absorbed in his research.
With weakened steps, Annette entered while carrying a vial containing an antivirus for the G-Virus.
"Allen will be leaving this laboratory soon. He said Sergei transferred him to the S.T.A.R.S. unit. It seems Spencer has another plan in mind," she said softly, placing the vial on the table.
"Hm… so he's finally been transferred. Good."
William turned, his eyes lingering on his wife, who somehow looked even more beautiful than in her youth. His hand reached out, intending to brush against her hip, but Annette subtly evaded his touch.
William paused for a moment, slightly puzzled by her behavior. Has she been angry with me lately? he wondered. But he quickly dismissed the thought. No, it must be because I deliberately kept her away from my private research. Hmph… such a troublesome woman.
"You can leave the antivirus on the table," he said flatly, completely ignoring Annette's question about his progress. William had no intention of sharing the state of his research with anyone. To him, only one thing mattered: the near-complete G-Virus.
"This antidote can only be used within three hours after infection. Beyond that, it becomes useless. I couldn't develop it any further than this," Annette explained in a professional tone.
"That's enough. I don't need a perfect antidote. What I need is a perfect G-Virus. Now, you can leave. I don't want to be disturbed."
His cold words pierced Annette's heart. She let out a frustrated sigh and turned to leave the room. Deep down, she knew her husband's treatment of her was growing worse day by day. But this time, Annette didn't really care. She no longer truly needed William—because now she had Allen.
With brisk steps, Annette returned to her private quarters. There, she considered something. Would Allen be interested in William's research on the G-Serum? If so, perhaps she could steal the data. Without hesitation, she activated the nano-band created by Allen and sent him a short message.
"If it's dangerous and puts your safety at risk, then I refuse," Allen replied to the message he had just received.
Annette smiled faintly at his response. She knew Allen truly cared about her.
"Don't worry about that. Of course, I'll be careful. Besides, I'm the only one who can easily get in and out of my husband's lab," she wrote back.
"Alright, but I still want you to stay cautious. If you run into any problems, let me know immediately," Allen replied again.
"Okay, don't worry. I'll definitely be careful. Bye-bye~"
Allen let out a quiet sigh after reading her last message. His gaze then shifted to Yoko Suzuki, who was sitting across from him.
"So, what do you think? Are you interested in joining my company? Don't worry about the pay—I'll make sure you're well compensated," Allen said with a smile.
He had indeed planned to recruit Yoko. With her expertise in computers, she would be invaluable in upgrading Wednesday and hacking into Umbrella's security systems.
"Ah… yes, of course I agree. But… isn't this contract a little too much?" Yoko frowned slightly at the document he handed her. "I mean, over twenty years of service, plus a clause that forbids me from having any romantic relationship with any man? That's… kind of strange, don't you think?"
For a moment, suspicion flickered in her eyes. But looking at Allen—her charismatic boss—she couldn't help letting her thoughts wander. Oh my god, Yoko, what are you even imagining right now…
Allen chuckled softly. "Hmm, you've got a point." He pulled the contract back and handed her a new draft. "This time, it's only a five-year term, and the personal relationship clause has been removed."
In truth, Allen had only wanted to tease her with that absurd contract, curious about her reaction.
Yoko carefully read through the revised contract. This time, she was satisfied—especially with the pay offered: fifty thousand dollars a year. An enormous sum for the time, made even more tempting with the generous work bonuses.
Without hesitation, Yoko signed the contract and handed it back to Allen.
"Glad to be working with you." Allen extended his hand, and Yoko responded with a warm handshake.
"I'll be in your care, then," Yoko replied politely, adding a touch of formality that made Allen smile faintly.
Afterward, Allen glanced at his schedule and noticed he still had a few free days.
"Come with me. I'll take you to your workplace," he said.
He intended to show Yoko the new work location he had prepared for her at his villa, so she could begin working right away. For her safety, Allen also planned to deploy his private soldiers to guard the area surrounding the villa.
But just as Allen was about to leave, a voice stopped him. It was Artemis.
"Allen, where are you going? Didn't you just get back?" she asked, her curious gaze fixed on him.
"I'm taking Yoko to the villa. She can start her first day of work there," Allen replied calmly.
"Can I come along? I'm getting a little bored with the atmosphere in this apartment," Artemis said, her eyes lingering on him.
"Of course…" Allen smiled. He certainly wouldn't refuse being accompanied by his wife.
"Alright, then I'll go get ready." With that, Artemis turned and headed toward her room.
Deep down, she had missed the villa's atmosphere. It was where she often spent her time hunting with her bow. As for the bioweapons roaming around the area, Allen wasn't worried in the slightest. In the end, they were the ones who should be afraid—because sooner or later, they would become Artemis's prey.
On their way to the villa, they were accompanied by Artemis, who carried her bow with her. Behind them, Lupo followed in a vehicle along with his team.
When they finally arrived at the villa, the place felt eerily quiet—unsurprising, since Allen rarely stayed there anymore.
"My love, I want to take a walk on my own. I don't think I need guards to follow me. I'll be back before midnight," Artemis said softly.
Allen looked at her for a moment before nodding. "Alright, but I still want you to be careful," he replied, pressing a kiss to her sweet lips.
Artemis gave a small smile. "Hehe… it's my prey that should be the ones careful, not me." With that, she walked off casually, her bow her only companion.
Karen, who had been watching, was about to order some of her subordinates to secretly tail Artemis, but Allen stopped her.
"You need to trust your sister. Besides, she and Athena are alike. You understand what I mean, don't you?"
Karen paused, then nodded. He was right—she herself had never managed to defeat Athena in combat, whether barehanded or armed, during their sparring sessions. Even so, her curiosity about Artemis's true abilities eventually drove her to secretly follow, bringing along a small team.
But Artemis was fully aware of Lupo and her men shadowing her. After walking several miles, her figure seemed to vanish completely—her trail impossible to track.
Realizing this, Lupo eventually decided to turn back. She knew how difficult it was to erase one's tracks in these woods, and yet Artemis did it with ease, as if she owned every inch of the forest. A flicker of unease stirred within her, but in the end, she had to accept the truth: chasing Artemis was no different than chasing a shadow.
Inside the villa, Allen showed some of his advanced computer equipment and asked Yoko if she could upgrade Wednesday. Seeing all of that, Yoko was stunned. Awe filled her, but at the same time, a strange sensation arose—as if fragments of her lost memories were slowly returning. It made her head ache.
"Are you okay?" Allen asked, a bit worried.
"I'm fine… it's just that, I think some of my memories are coming back," Yoko replied softly.
They had actually talked about this before. From the recording Alex had shown, Yoko had once worked for Umbrella—donating her cell tissue for virus experiments and even injecting the virus into her own body. That event seemed to be the beginning of a major incident that followed. Yoko trembled slightly at the memory, but quickly steeled herself.
"Do you need company?" Allen asked again.
"No… I want to be alone. But if you can, could you tell me what our goal is here?"
"Well, my goal is simple. I want to copy all of Umbrella's data. Besides that, I also want you to upgrade my AI's software. From what I've seen, your skills in this field are very impressive," Allen said, showing her his supercomputer.
Yoko stepped closer, examining the data displayed by Wednesday. She then began writing a list while occasionally tinkering with the system.
"This is the list of what I need to upgrade your supercomputer. And if you want to hack into Umbrella's supercomputer, you'll need to be close to their servers."
"Alright then, I'll leave you here. For your safety, I've assigned some guards around the villa. If you need anything, you can talk to them."
Yoko only nodded, then turned her focus back to the supercomputer. Her eyes sparkled with fascination—as if she had just discovered a new world that was both challenging and captivating.
