Alright, let's head back to Allen and Raccoon City.

When Allen stepped out of his room, still half-dressed, he saw Michaela and Rachel busy preparing breakfast in the kitchen.

"Morning, girls," Allen greeted them casually.

"Good morning," they replied at the same time.

"Honey, are you hungry?" Rachel said as she walked up to Allen, planting a quick kiss on his lips before gently pulling him toward the dining area. "Come on, eat first."

Meanwhile, Michaela stayed focused on finishing breakfast, her expression calm but distant. A faint sense of envy lingered in her chest—after all, Rachel and the others could freely kiss Allen, laugh with him, and share his bed every night.

Michaela had her needs too. She was a woman, after all. But it had been a long time since she'd had that kind of intimacy. Her line of work made it difficult to form normal long time relationships, let alone find a partner she could truly trust.

She quietly set the plates down on the table, pushing those thoughts aside—at least for now.

Michaela discreetly watched her boss, who was currently half-dressed, as Rachel sat on his lap and gently fed Allen.

Oh God… he's really sexy, Michaela thought, swallowing hard as her eyes lingered on his well-built body and handsome face. She couldn't help it. Anyone would react the same way.

Allen, of course, noticed Michaela stealing glances at him. He didn't mind in the slightest. In fact, he found it rather amusing.

"Allen, can we leave this city as soon as possible?" Rachel suddenly said.

Her words made Allen pause. He tilted his head slightly, clearly confused. "Hmm? What's going on? Why are you asking that all of a sudden?"

Rachel's expression grew serious. "The military and the Federation failed to obtain the G-Virus sample from Umbrella. And there's something worse—Dr. William Birkin injected himself with the G-Virus. He's mutated, and now he's rampaging through the underground sewer systems."

Her voice carried genuine concern. She clearly wanted to get out of Raccoon City as soon as possible. After all, she had no desire to fight something like that—especially now, when there was a strong chance she might be carrying Allen's child.

"Oh… so the military failed after all," Allen said calmly, as if he had already expected this outcome.

"Don't worry," he continued, pulling Rachel closer into his arms. "I've already secured an evacuation route for us. If the situation in the city gets any worse, we can leave immediately."

"Really?" Rachel asked, still uneasy. "But wouldn't it be better if we just left now?"

Allen shook his head slowly. "Not yet. There are still things I need to take care of here. I can't just walk away."

What he didn't say out loud was that he still intended to help as many people as possible—those trapped in the city because of Umbrella's bioweapons. More survivors meant more witnesses. And more witnesses meant Umbrella's downfall would be unavoidable.

And besides… there's Claire, Allen thought silently.

I want to see her again.

He wondered how she was doing now. Back in high school, Claire had been a tomboy—short-tempered, outspoken, but honest. Their relationship hadn't been bad at all. Things only became awkward later, mostly because of Chris. Chris's feelings for Jill back then had turned their friend group into a mess.

Allen sighed inwardly.

His friendship with Claire hadn't fallen apart, but it had become painfully awkward. They drifted apart naturally after that, seeing each other less and less—until one day, they barely spoke at all.

Still… some connections never truly disappeared.

...

Meanwhile, in the disposal area where creatures like cockroaches, rodents such as rats, and even alligators lived, the T-Virus that leaked due to William began to spread. This caused the animals to become infected, triggering grotesque mutations. Their bodies grew unnaturally large, and their behavior turned aggressive—driven by raw hunger and bloodlust.

Even something as small as a cockroach could transform into a vicious creature, its size now comparable to that of a puppy. The infected animals began attacking and devouring one another, the food chain collapsing into chaos. Other creatures, such as spiders, also mutated, growing larger and preying on smaller infected animals.

As a result, the underground sewer system beneath Raccoon City had turned into one of the most dangerous areas in the city—an evolving nest of biological horrors lurking in the dark.

Meanwhile, in the disposal area, countless creatures—cockroaches, rodents like rats, and even alligators that lived in the sewers—began to be infected by the T-Virus leaking as a result of William's actions. The infection caused these animals to mutate rapidly, growing far larger and far more aggressive than normal. Even cockroaches became bloodthirsty monsters, some now as large as small dogs.

The infected creatures started turning on one another, devouring anything weaker within reach. Spiders mutated as well, growing massive and predatory, preying on smaller infected animals. As a result, the underground sewer system beneath Raccoon City quickly became the most dangerous area in the city.

Daniel, who had been assigned by Umbrella to contain and clean up the situation, was completely overwhelmed. He attempted to contact headquarters repeatedly, but no response ever came. It felt as though Umbrella had abandoned him, leaving him alone to deal with the catastrophe they themselves had caused.

"Damn it… why is no one responding?" Daniel growled in frustration.

"Aaaaah—no! Help—!!"

Suddenly, amid his anger, Daniel heard a scream followed by the sickening sound of bones snapping from another section of the tunnels.

"What now?" he muttered irritably.

"Hey, go check that out. See what's happening over there," he ordered his men.

With no other choice, his subordinates obeyed, even though they clearly didn't want to. They moved down the corridor to investigate—but found nothing. No bodies. No signs of struggle. As if the screaming had never happened.

"Sir… we didn't find anything," the squad captain reported.

"What do you mean you didn't find anything?" Daniel demanded through the radio.

Before another word could be spoken, something erupted from the water—a massive, monstrous jaw snapped shut around the captain, swallowing him whole like a snack.

CRUNCH—AHHH—KRAK!

"Open fire!"

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Screams, gunshots, and the sound of bones breaking echoed through the tunnels—then, suddenly, silence.

"Hello?! Do you read me? What's happening down there?!" Daniel shouted desperately into the radio.

No response came back. The gunfire had stopped.

"Damn it… I need to get out of here. Now," Daniel muttered, no longer caring about his men's fate.

He began running through the sewer tunnels without once looking back. When he finally spotted a ladder leading up to the surface, he rushed toward it and started to climb.

Then he heard it.

Heavy, wet footsteps.

Curiosity—or panic—made him pause and turn around.

That was his mistake.

Emerging from the shadows was Dr. William Birkin, now fully transformed into a grotesque, nightmarish monster.

"UMBRELLAAAA!!" William roared as he charged forward.

"W-William?" Daniel gasped, recognizing him by his hair and what remained of his clothing.

"N-No, no—William, it's me—Dan~!"

William didn't care.

BANGGG!

The creature slammed into Daniel with terrifying force, obliterating his body instantly.

That was the end of Daniel.

Meanwhile, life on the surface continued as usual. The city's residents went about their daily routines, completely unaware that beneath their feet lurked countless monsters, ready to break free at any moment.

...

Not long after that, Allen suddenly received a phone call from Brian.

"Allen, can you come to the office today?" Chief Brian Irons said over the phone, calling him early in the morning as if he urgently needed Allen to be there.

"Hm? What's going on, Chief?" Allen asked calmly.

"There's been another cannibalism case in the northern area of Raccoon City," Brian explained, his voice tense. "And we're running critically low on vaccines. The last batch has already been used up."

Allen frowned slightly at that. "Wait… didn't we already clear the northern district? Why are we dealing with the same problem again?" he asked. "Can you tell me what actually happened this time?"

"I honestly don't know," Brian admitted with a frustrated sigh. "People are suddenly getting infected again, without any clear cause. It just… started happening. Listen, Allen, I really need your help this time. This is important—for the plan as well."

There was a short pause on the line as Allen considered the situation. "Alright," he finally said. "I'll try to make another batch of vaccines. It should take around two to three hours. Will that be enough?"

"Yes, that'll do—but please hurry," Brian replied quickly. "Umbrella is already pressuring me to handle this immediately. They made it very clear that if I fail again, they won't hesitate to get rid of me."

"Tch…," Allen muttered. "Alright, calm down. I'll take care of the vaccines and head over as soon as I can."

"Thank you, Allen… seriously," Brian said, sounding visibly relieved.

"No problem. I'll contact you once I'm done," Allen replied before ending the call.

On the other end, Brian slowly lowered the phone and leaned back in his chair, letting out a long breath. At least for now, he had a lifeline. All he could do was wait—and hope—that Allen would arrive before things in Raccoon City spiraled any further out of control.

Three hours later, Allen finally arrived at the RPD, heading inside alongside Michaela, who was carrying several boxes of newly made vaccines meant for the police officers. The station was far busier than usual. Radios crackled nonstop, filled with urgent calls from officers requesting backup as reports of cannibalistic attacks continued to spread across the city.

"David, take a break—you look exhausted," Marvin said firmly before turning toward the front desk. "Rita, have you seen Allen? Has he arrived yet? We need those vaccines right now." His voice carried clear concern; at this point, Allen was the only one capable of producing an effective countermeasure.

"Kevin, Leon," Marvin continued without pause, rubbing his temples, "can you handle the Minerva Daily Street area? Several officers are trapped there and need immediate support."

"Alright, leave it to us," Kevin replied, gesturing for Leon to follow him. "We'll head there now."

Leon let out a quiet sigh. The situation was spiraling fast, far worse than anything he'd expected on his first days on duty. As he grabbed his gear, one thought kept crossing his mind—where is Allen?

Just then, Allen stepped into the station. Rita noticed him instantly.

"Oh—Allen! Thank god you're here!" she said, her eyes lighting up despite the heavy dark circles beneath them. "Is that the vaccine?"

"Hey, Rita, are you okay?" Allen asked, concern evident in his voice. "You look completely worn out. Why don't you get some rest?"

"I wish I could," Rita replied with a tired smile. "But not right now. Come on—Marvin's been asking about you nonstop. He's been waiting for you."

She gently took Allen by the arm and hurried him toward Marvin. Michaela followed close behind, carefully keeping hold of the vaccine crates.

"Alright, alright, I'm coming," Allen said with a small chuckle, quickening his pace.

The moment Marvin saw Allen, visible relief washed over his face. "Thank goodness you made it. Kevin, Leon—take these vaccines and head straight to Minerva Daily Street. No delays."

"Understood, sir," Leon replied. He stepped closer to Allen, taking several vials from the box. "Really… I'm glad you're here, Allen. We needed this."

"Yeah," Allen said, giving him an encouraging nod. "Be careful out there."

Leon hesitated for a second, then nodded firmly. "After this, I'm heading out. See you later."

"Stay safe," Allen added with a faint smile. "After this is over, drinks are on me. My treat."

Leon managed a small grin. "I'll hold you to that."

"Deal," Allen replied.

With that, Leon turned and left with Kevin, their footsteps echoing through the hall as they rushed back into the chaos outside—while the radio chatter continued, and the weight of the growing disaster pressed down on everyone inside the RPD.
