Quinn wrote down as he saw Susannah picking roses on the screen, He misses her sweet smile in real life.
Runa covers her mouth as she watches the screen. "Alright Jericho times up. It's time for chopping."
Jericho groaned. "Can you phase it better?"
Runa pulled out the tools. "No cause is true."
"Hey I haven't seen Trevor since we put Susannah in a dream." Jericho wondered, Runa's eyes peered at him threatened. He back away.
She smiled. "He will no longer be working here is just us and 001."
Jericho relaxed and turned away. "Yes Ma'am."
First Day: Subject 001's left leg was amputee.
Runa analysis the leg. "Now we wait." Runa walk away, Jericho grabbed her arm and pointed,
"Look." He called.
001's leg was no longer there, it was replaced by a plant with green vine and purple looking berry.
Runa's lip turns a sickly grinned. "That was fast."
Jericho click his teeth. "I wish we knew how long the cure take." Runa grabbed his wrist and cut it.
"What the herb?!" He shouted trying to stop the bleeding. Runa walk away to the plant.
"A cut like this would take two weeks or three months if I cut deeper." Runa put one of the berries on Jericho's wrist as it heals in seconds.
"Holy bonna." His look at his wrist a cut like that would have left a scar but nothing.
"Yes 001 can save many just by taking her limbs." Runa confessed. But Jericho was still confused. "And Susannah?" Runa place her hand on his shoulder.
"She will be put in a private school with new limbs and beside robotic limbs, are still new but workable." She tried to cheer him up.
Jericho put his hand behind his head as he stared at Susannah still asleep on the table. "She can still be a ballerina?"
Runa chuckled. "Yeah maybe one day she can be in the nutcracker."
Fourth Day: Subject 001's right leg
Jericho watched it grow. Runa was pacing the floor.
"The Higher ups are on our asses." She clicks her teeth.
Jericho was still watching the plant. "But we were doing so well in our reports."
"I tried to tell them. 'We need to speed up the cure' they said." She grunted. She crossed her arms. "They don't care they never did."
Jericho got up. "Maybe I can talk to them." He was a little scared but they did know them far too well but Runa stopped him.
"Forget it."
"Understood I wish Trevor was here." Jericho sighed, Runa was bring her lip skin off.
Tenth Day: Subject 001's left arm.
Jericho held the arm. "She use this arm to draw."
Runa was putting a report together. "Now her arm is used to help people."
Jericho put the arm in a glass container. "Hey Runa. Do you sometime think this is wrong?"
Runa put her hand under her chin. "No, it's our job."
Quinn reflected. "But she is still so young."
Runa slammed her hand on the table. "Don't tell me you have mortals now after we took three of her limbs already?!"
Jericho put his head down. "Maybe I don't know."
"And beside it not like we are taking her heart." She confessed. Jericho put his hands into fists. "Yes Ma'am."
Twelve Day: Subject 001's right arm.
Runa staring at something with the sound of water behind her. "Yes. I understand. Her heart, of course. Higher ups." She was staring at a mirror with the water faucet on as she bite her lip skin.
She turned away but she heard a voice behind her.
"Runa what on your mind?" Her mirror self asked.
"Jericho ask to many question."
"You know what to do when someone is curious?"
"Yes of course, Higher ups."
Exam Room*
Jericho was brushing Susannah's hair. "Your hair is so pretty." It was silent.
"Oh right you can't see or hear me." He chuckled. Runa walks over to them.
"Higher ups want us to take a few days off." She explained.
Jericho nodded, "Yes Ma'am."
Runa put her hands on the table, Susannah was lying on. "Someone would take care of 002 on our vacation."
Jericho kiss her forehead. "I will see you another time Susannah." Jericho left the exam room leaving Runa and Susannah alone.
Runa put her head closer to Susannah. "Just like your father and Jerocho so easy." She smirked. Jericho was in his room packing. Then Boom! Bang!
Jericho gasped and went outside the hallway as alarms were going off as he ran to the exam room. Then he heard a bang on the door, he opened it. He froze up there with Trevor with his legs amputee. Thunk! Runa hit Jericho on the side of his head.
Jericho lay on the ground holding the side of his head. "All you had to do was listen and do your job!" Runa hit him again in his mouth.
"Jericho!" Trevor yelled. Runa pointed the gun at him. "And you! You had every chance to walk away from this Trevor. But you fell for 001!"
"She is my daughter!" Trevor barked. Runa shook her head.
"It nothing but a hybrid clone of me and you!" Runa yelled back. Jericho got up and tackled Runa to the ground, as they fought over the gun.Bang! Trevor went limp as his forehead bleed.
"Trevor?" Jericho's hand shake.
"You kill him." She sanged.
"No I-I just want to-"
Boom! Bang! The building was set ablaze and floors going downs.
"Sorry!" Jericho punched her and ran to the exam room. He wrapped her into a blanket, his head was banging with his lip bleeding. But Susannah's face was burn from the helmet as it overheated.
Bang! Jericho fell to his knees, His right leg was bleeding. Runa pointed a gun at him. "I always get what I want." Runa laughed.
"Hey!" A cloak tossed a gun to Jericho without panicking. He fired at her as she fell to the ground with her eye gone and bleeding out. Jericho tried to thank the cloak person but they were gone, he walked out of the building as someone walked up to him.
"You okay, Sir?" Atticus asked. Jericho black out as Atticus held him and Susannah.
