Dimitri glanced at Luan, who stood at the front in front of all the soldiers with a serious look on his face. After he saw that, he grasped his sword tightly, and after breathing in and out a couple of times, he turned his head and also stared at the incoming monster wave; the only thing he saw were hundreds of thousands of different kinds of monsters.

All of them rushing straight at the fortress while screaming and growling. Most soldiers were quivering in their boots.

Would they be able to survive this kind of wave? And even if they survived the current one, what would happen to ones that would follow? This was, after all, the third day in a row that a wave had appeared.

Did that mean there would be one every day? The soldiers nervously looked around, unsure of what to do. The morale was dropping rapidly, and while Luan felt it.

He couldn't do anything about it right now. He had to focus to get the timing perfectly, or his whole plan would be wasted.
