Chapter 117 - Chapter 116: THREE KINGS INHERITANCE (20)

Chapter 116: THREE KINGS INHERITANCE (20)

Wu Shen Tong was in the King Quan zone, giving major "I have a spreadsheet for this" energy. "Round 48, slay," he muttered to himself, a true dedicated steamer on a 72-hour grind.

His avatar was giving beta male after getting ghosted vibes. This was the permanent side effect of Long Qing Tian's "Jade Sky Glow-Up Serum" that went wrong. He went to Divine Doctor Sheng Shou, who hit him with the "you should've come to me sooner, bestie" and put him on a subscription detox plan.

"Aight, now who's the next opp?" Wu Shen Tong fr courting death again 😭. He wasn't here to touch grass with the NPC dogs. He was here for competitive gameplay, aka stealing loot and making people log off.

"In the Enslavement Path leaderboards, only two names are above me," he thought, gripping his gaming chair. "Wu Gui and Zhang San San. This is a free W."

The render fog cleared. A pack of Corpse Dogs shambled in, looking like they were straight out of a low-budget indie horror game.

Wu Shen Tong almost laughed in VC. "Corpse Dogs are for day one players who don't know the meta." He was ready to ratio them into oblivion.

But then the spawns didn't stop. Chrysanthemum Akita Dogs popped out, giving organized group project energy. Then Hedge Dogs—the literal "don't touch me" breed. Then Lightning Symbol Dogs with the zoomie aura.

His smirk did the loading buffer circle. "Okay... they've got a diverse portfolio. This might require actual mechanics."

He tabbed to his secret roster: 120 Heavy Tai Dogs. The balanced, all-rounder comp every tier list said was S-tier. His "oh, you're approaching me?" moment.

"Time to cook," he thought, his cursor hovering over the deploy key.

Then the opponent's fog did the dramatic anime parting. Heavy Tai Dogs trotted out. Then more. Then a Heavy Tai Dog King materialized with a mythical item glow.

Wu Shen Tong's brain did the "error 404: confidence not found". "They have my secret tech?! COURTING DEATH."

It kept getting worse. Green Hua Dogs with scale armor. Smoke Song Dogs doing the mysterious vibe check. Light Heng Dogs looking holy and untouchable. Star Heng Dogs with the glass-cannon DPS.

The full Five Great Mountain Dog meta. Each squad had its own main character dog king.

This wasn't just a player. This was someone playing a different game entirely. The resource cost for this army was mathematically improbable. A cold, digital sweat beaded on his brow. He fumbled for his "get out of jail free" token. "At least let me see the username of who's doing this to me."

A silhouette started forming in the mist, looking suspiciously like a silhouette challenge.

shwoop

There was a soft discord notification sound behind him.

pop

His screen went black. User disconnected.

From the dissipating fog, Bai Ning Bing walked out, looking as bored as someone scrolling through a for you page with zero likes. "Are we done yet? This is worse than listening to Ironmouse."

While other players were suffering from success, Bai Ning Bing was on creative mode. The Land Spirit was her personal game guide walkthrough.

Fang Yuan nodded, giving proud twitch mod energy. "Your dog collection is aesthetic now. You can pretty much set it and forget it until the final boss. Remember, the last level has Lion Mastiffs—they're like the final evolutions—and two Dog Emperors, which are basically raid bosses. You need to add them to your collection."

She gave a lazy "k" hand sign and went back to her idle clicker game.

The Land Spirit's voice hit Fang Yuan's DMs. "Server funds are at 5%. You can kick two more players. Who's getting the ban hammer?"

The Beast Placenta Gu was now a shiny, perfected hyperpop gem at 89%. Two more Rank 4 sacrifices would max it at 90%—his personal skill ceiling.

"Zhang San San," Fang Yuan said, no hesitation. He was clearing his friend list of anyone who could counter his simple, yet effective, strat later.

Zhang San San got the "you've been removed from the group chat" treatment. But his death loot was the real gag.

Item Get! Rank 5 Slavery Gu.

Fang Yuan held it up. It was the in-game equivalent of a "you belong to me now" TikTok sound. A wave of "could've, would've, should've" washed over him. If he'd known, he could have forced a collab with Tie Mu Bai. Major fumble.

But it wasn't trash. He used it.

His target: Feng Tian Yu, the guy famous for that one viral clip of him crafting a Rank 5 Gu at a low level. The man immediately hit the griddy and then knelt. "Master."

"New quest," Fang Yuan commanded, sounding like a micromanaging guild leader. "Speedrun the King Xin zone. Bring me the 'Undefeated Hundred Battles Gu'. It's for the build."

"On it." Feng Tian Yu /vanished, getting teleported by the GM.

It was a big brain move. Having a crafting savant as a permanent slave was basically duping items with extra steps. Crucial for the complicated DIY project he had coming up.

Now, the final vote to kick. Who?

The biggest stream snipers right now were Yi Huo or Kong Ri Tian. The biggest future problem was Tie Ruo Nan, who was giving main character training arc. He was weighing instant gratification against long-term peace.

His thoughts were interrupted by a discord call from the admin.

"EMERGENCY PATCH. A PLAYER FOUND AN OLD GLITCH."

A screen share popped up. It was Long Qing Tian, standing in a part of the map that looked glitched and unfinished. He was spamming his signature move, the jade sky Gu, directly into the corrupted code. The world around him was turning a toxic, filtered green.

"He's doing the 'corrupt your save file' speedrun strat," the Land Spirit said, voice glitching with panic. "He's going to force an early server shutdown in EIGHT MINUTES. If he makes a hole to the main server, our resources get DDoSed. It's so over."

The carefully planned "slow and steady wins the race" grind was over. The timeline was now a panic-induced speedrun. Fang Yuan's final decision wasn't about optimization anymore—it was about damage control.
