Chapter 3 - CHAPTER 3: IN THE BEGINNING

In the beginning there was THE ORIGIN, THE DESIGNER, THE WAYFARER. Three distinct entities but yet one individual. They were collectively called THE CREATOR. They existed in the emptiness that was the universe.

"Isn't it time for us to fill this emptiness? I made this infinitely stretching canvas for it to bear the most beautiful of pieces." The ORIGIN spoke.

"I agree. Let's fill this canvas with a new kind of life. Full with all sorts of entities." The DESIGNER added.

"And to all those entities, let's establish laws that will not only govern their existence, but also ensure their wellbeing." The WAYFARER concluded.

With that they began what will be called by some; THE DAWN OF CREATION and by others in some distant future, THE BIG BANG!! Why the Big Bang? Because they were amazed by the Creator's imagination; AN EXPLOSION OF CREATIVITY.

THE DESIGNER gave shape to everything. He segmented his great design in to seven steps

In the first step, he split the canvas into two planes of existence. One that contained their divinity which he called THE HIGHER DIMENSION and the other that will hold the greatness of their imagination; THE LOWER DIMENSION

In the second step, He drew large rocky bodies, floating in the infinite darkness of the canvas. The bodies had different sizes and looked circular. He called those bodies ORBS.

In the third step He added order to the randomly dispatched orbs that filled the canvas. He clustered them and He named a cluster; NEBULA.

In the fourth step, He thought of a way to enlighten the canvas. The darkness of the canvas wasn't alluring for entities to exist and thrive. Hence, to some of the orbs; He ignited their core. Elevated the chain reaction of the ignition to the surface of the orb and contained it with respect to a well-defined mean radius. To those shining orbs, he called them STARS.

In the fifth step, He added periodicity. When He looked at the nebula and the orbs, they were all static. And that wasn't A characteristic of THE DESIGNER. THE DESIGNER bore dynamism and evolution. And with such characteristics, He added spins to the orbs. The stars would spin on itself around its defined axis of rotation. Meanwhile the other orbs would spin around their own defined axis and around the stars. This created two distinct dynamic states. A period of light and darkness which He called DAY and NIGHT. And a period with longer lights and shorter darkness and vice versa. To those periods He named them SEASONS.

In the sixth step he added life. He was still roaming around his works and was caught by a certain nebula. Its colour was closer to what THE DESIGNER called purity. In that nebula, he chose an orb not too far from a star nor too close. In that orb He breath life to it and called it EARTH. The core of the orb was warmed up and the heat cracked the rock plates causing water to gush out and flow. As water flew, the rocky plates turned green. He called the green; NATURE. Nature progressed, giving different types of aspects; in size, in colours, in scent, and in bearings. The cracking of the plates gave rise to high relief and also deep relief. Water subsequently accumulated into those deep reliefs and created large roaring water bodies, which He called SEAS. The heat from the core caused some part of the water bodies to rise to the stratum of the orbs. And at a particular level above the rocky plates, they condensed into whitish bodies which THE DESIGNER called; SKY. With the Nature and water bodies, the designer added creatures of all sizes, shapes and allure to populate both the Nature and the water bodies.

In His seventh step, He created thinking beings. He thought of beings who could not only think but will look like them. The would be able to grow and able to mimic their divine nature. With all those blessed characteristics, he called those beings; HUMAN (For he thought; "They should be like us"). He created two species of human beings; Man and Woman. The man was made with abilities to control, dominate and lead. The woman was made with the abilities to assist, guide, quench and incubate. And he created a total of 144 human beings; 72 Men and 72 Women, which he dispatched in the corners of earth for them to name, dominate, grow and fill the earth.

After that, he looked at all of His design and acknowledged that it was all very good. The creator loved what HE made. He looked at it with such bewilderment. The colourful nebula, the amazing orbs and the lively earth. All was ok but one thing; Man had no purpose. Sure, Man looked like THEM but lacked a certain dynamism; an objective. Hence, THEY frequently descended to earth, to teach man. They breath into man levels of intelligence and instruction. THEY began with language. Man had a means of communication with each other and with their creator. With that language they gave names to their surroundings. The animals around them. Words like insects, birds came to live. They gave names to the green surrounding them. They brewed up words like shrubs, grass, trees and a whole arsenal.

The creator breath into them science, arts and self-sustenance. With the arts, Man began by creating clothing from the leaves of trees and roots of the nature. They appreciated the sounds made from animals and began copying them; music was born. Then they progressed to science. Calculations, physics and medicine. They began to perceive the animals and nature in another aspect. They studied their dynamism and understood how to take care of them. They understood the physics in the growth of plants and animals and came up with means to take care of excesses. Hence for sustenance, they created tools to clear excess shrubs, cut down trees (which were recycled into several uses), and reduce population of some overgrown animal species; farming, carpentry and cooking were born. Man was now capable of surviving amidst nature and its hazards. The last thing the creator breath into Man were emotions and extra sensorial feelings. Psychology was born. The creator wrote into Man's blood love, fear, anxiety, hate, discipline. But above all of that, HE wrote into Man's blood laws. Man knew what was good and bad in front of the creator's eyes. Man knew laziness and of course punishment. He came to feel pains and love. With that last act, every man became drawn to a woman and families were created. The Creator felt man was finally complete needed no assistance from HIM anymore. He had trained Man for roughly 500 blue moons and HE felt exhausted. In HIS exhaustion, the Creator ascended to His Higher dimension to rest.

While HE rested Man continue to evolve. Agricultural techniques took a larger expanse. The buildings left from wooden, to rocky and then to a composite material construction. Man, who used to explore on foot, starting riding animals and after that developed several mechanical means. All of this sprang from a certain biome that would be called ALKEBULAN. The humans there, began the revolution and shared their knowledge to the other biomes. They would be known as the starting point of modern-day civilization. But that peace and era of progress was short-lived by a succession of minor events that led to a massive destruction. In a certain biome, there was a certain individual. Due to his actions pronouncing his name became a taboo. But to identify him for future generations, he was branded a certain title. This individual like all the others, had a home to get back to. A woman to assist him in his day-to-day activity. He actively contributed in his biome and followed the rules and regulations as every regular individual. One day, as every other day he would join his team for their daily chores. Usually, a man was paired to another man but one of the male team members was recovering from an ailment and decided to send his woman replace him. Our individual (whom we shall call Mr X; in order not to confuse our readers) was paired with this woman (the woman too shall be called Lady Y, to ease the narration). A man and a woman had never been paired in such activities, for they were instructed that these activities were only meant for men. They hesitated when they saw Lady Y arrive as a replacement to her husband but with the CREATOR's absence, they had to decide for themselves. After weighing all the possible options at hand, they decided to accept Lady Y in the group. Their main reason was to not fall short in the daily resource quota necessary for the community's daily development. And with Lady Y's workmanship they were rather pleased of their decision. The one who was more pleased than he wanted to show was Mr X. Seeing her executing her tasks sparked an unusual regard towards the newest member of the group.

All the women of the community had "repairing" tasks. Designing and repairing clothes, cooking nutritive food for the body (repairing both the soul and the flesh) and their aura comforted men plagued with fatigue. All men knew that. We could better say, all men were used to that and didn't want anything else. They didn't think of anything supplementary nor did they dream of anything supplementary. They were satisfied with the gratifying presence of the women. That is why no one noticed, not even the person concerned, the new feelings brewing in his heart. He did his best to shunt these upgrowing feelings but all his efforts were in vain. Being paired with her only added more fuel to his flaming heart. He would forget about her when he is home with his wife. But the next day, when he returns to work, the flame rekindles. This new desire generated such an intense internal conflict that his skin exteriorized it. He noticed a strange pattern on his chest. It was just a spot and so he didn't care. But as time went on, the pattern began progressing towards his neck and began crawling towards his back. And as he hid it, the pattern kept crawling to his lower back and arms. At some point his skin would throb. From throbbing it started itching and from itches it escalated to sharp seizure-like pains. And when he couldn't bear the pains, he finally opened up to his wife. She would prepare special baths and oils to reduce the pains. And she would sometime share her womanly essence with him. But this was just calming but not solving the issue. At work the pain would recommence. But one evening when Mr X came back home, the pains had completely vanished. His partner noticed he felt better but she also noticed something else; a foreign female essence mingled to his. When she inquired, Mr X brushed it off saying her oils finally paid and cured his pain. But she didn't believe. She knew, inherently that her oils couldn't cure the pain. Why? Because she didn't understand the root cause of the issue. The CREATOR taught them that, only when have you noticed the cause can you completely cure someone from an ailment. But she was happy her partner was fine. Mr X on the other hand knew what was the cause of his ailment and the significance of the pain he was feeling. He knew his desire for Lady Y caused those pains. And the pains were some sort of a fail-safe to bring him to abandon such desires. He surmised that, had he abandoned the desires the markings would have disappeared. But he held onto his desires. One day after work he was in pains and decided to rush to the nearest stream. He undressed and applied the oils on him, then plunged into the stream. When he came out of the water, the pain had died down but Lady Y was in front of him.

"I now understand why you changed attires" Lady Y began. "You were covering up these markings." Mr X didn't answer. He quietly walked to his dresses but Lady Y rushed and picked up the dresses before him.

"You won't answer me? Then you won't get back your clothes" She laughed. Mr X just stood there naked, staring at how she laughed. The expression she made was that spark that incinerated Mr X's heart. The pain attained its peak but Mr X didn't care anymore. He began gently moving towards Lady Y

"What is that? Still not talking? Then let me help you. I felt your gaze on me every working day. You looked me so differently. Even my husband does not look at me like that. And so, I began wondering what was crossing your mind." Lady Y spoke, motionless as Mr X approached her.

"And what did you think?" Mr X asked.

"That, what was crossing your mind should be very beautiful."

"Beautiful?" He questioned.

"Yes. Only a beautiful thing can make someone's eyes glitter like the endless sky I contemplate every evening."

"Now I get it." Mr X responded, stroking Lady Y's jaw. With each stroke the pain increased. A drop of blood started developing on Mr X's chest, at the point of origin of the pattern. Lady Y, noticing that, bent down to lick it, but tears began flowing.

"What is the matter?" Mr X asked as Lady Y leaned on his chest. He then noticed a strange pattern on her neck. The pattern was similar to his. He grabbed her and urged her to remove her dresses. And she too had the patterns on her neck, slightly touching her upper back and stretching to cover her arms.

"So, we desired the same thing." Lady Y whispered.

"A thing that is against what the CREATOR wants but yet we see it as beautiful." Mr X smiled, looking at Lady Y's body twitching with each spike of pain. They had understood what plagued their hearts and had decided to resolve it by their own means. Lady Y licked the blood spot on Mr X's chest and Mr X reciprocated with a kiss on her sweaty cheeks. They continued their game despite the pains they were feeling. Their heart pulses kept on rising with each kiss, with each lick, with each touch. They knew that it was forbidden to entertain such an activity with someone else's partner but they kept on. When they had attained their peak of sensitivity, Mr X lulled Lady Y to the ground with his eyes red of a consuming desire. Lady Y's body was slippery with desire and a greed for new bond. That desire was immediately satisfied as Mr X found his way to the warmth they both desired. Immediately he entered, Lady Y's warmth flew through him and his through her. The warmth burned through the pain and healed all the blood spots that had developed on both partners. The warmth added a buff of pleasure that carried them throughout the whole act till their bodies overflew with ecstasy. And when the joy died down a sour sentiment arose. A sentiment they had wished to never feel. That sentiment created a state of questioning that would lead to the fall of the whole human race.
