Chapter 36 - Chapter 36: Journey to Somalia, Vibranium

Chapter 36: Journey to Somalia, Vibranium

After Justin Hammer left,

Jiang Feng began researching the super soldier serum. The complexity of this technology was far lower than that of the Pym Particles.

After a general review,

he found it still within the range of his comprehension.

"Linglong, next, hack into Killian's database. Allocate part of your computing power to produce the super soldier serum," Jiang Feng immediately ordered.

The production process for the super soldier serum was relatively simple, and its cost wasn't much higher than a single vial of Pym Particles.

He planned to complete a second enhancement of himself before this trial world ended.

However,

Jiang Feng had no interest in personally manufacturing it.

With the complete technology in hand, he could simply hand the task over to the AI, saving time and energy.

"Yes, Master,"

Linglong's crisp voice responded.

While stealing data on the Extremis virus, she also allocated some computing power to begin sourcing raw materials for the serum.

Soon after,

Jiang Feng checked a hidden account on the dark web.

The message read: "The goods are ready. Come to Somalia to pick them up."

The one he had secretly contacted was the arms dealer who had stirred up bloodshed in the black market and held vibranium resources in hand—

Ulysses Klaue.

He usually hid in remote corners of Africa.

Few even knew of Klaue's existence, let alone considered buying vibranium from him.

But Jiang Feng's hacking skills were top-tier.

With just a few keystrokes, he found Klaue's contact information and finalized the order with him.

"It's time to prepare the materials for the next-generation Iron Suit,"

Jiang Feng muttered.

The simplest way to upgrade the Iron Suit was by replacing it with stronger materials.

Such as the famed vibranium, adamantium, and uru metal of the Marvel Universe...

At present, Jiang Feng already possessed the formula for adamantium—

Though it still required synthesis. Once that was secured, he aimed to obtain the even rarer vibranium.

Jiang Feng got up and left the research lab.

Under the arrangements of his AI assistant Linglong, he quietly boarded a flight to North Africa.

Outside the aircraft window,

the clouds churned like the scales of a giant beast, heralding an approaching storm.

On the coastline of Somalia,

the murky seawater churned with silt, crashing against the desolate mudflats.

Several rusted, giant ships—like the carcasses of behemoths—lay stranded in this barren land.

Erosion over the years carved deep grooves into their hulls,

and some ships had already begun to rot, exposing dark brown insides through their broken planks.

Among them,

the relatively intact ship resembled the ruler of this forsaken land—Klaue's main base for arms dealing.

Inside the grounded ship,

it had been fully transformed into an armory and black market hub for illegal goods.

Walking into the cabin,

an unbearable stench hit—gunpowder, sweat, and blood mixed together,

like an invisible hand tightening around the throat, suffocating.

Under dim lighting,

desperadoes and mercenaries from around the world scurried like ants.

They carried crates of weapons through narrow corridors. Clanging metal and constant swearing filled the air.

This was a lawless zone, a breeding ground for evil.

Today,

a unique-looking guest arrived on the ship.

Each step echoed as his shoes met the metal deck.

Jiang Feng, dressed casually with a pair of glasses, walked seriously into the cabin.

The moment he entered,

he was met with the cold stares of the crew.

"Look, this is a black market—what's a pretty boy like that doing here?"

"Heh heh heh... probably some young master looking for thrills. Thinks he's tough, huh?"

"But I'll say this—he's quite good-looking. Nice body too."

Burly mercenaries gathered together,

eyeing the buyer and flashing yellowed teeth as they spoke,

their eyes glinting with something sinister.

Like sharks that had smelled blood, they saw Jiang Feng as prey, a fat sheep on the butcher's block.

Especially after noticing his fair skin and tall figure, their expressions grew more malicious.

However,

these foolish thugs had no idea what terrifying power lay beneath Jiang Feng's seemingly scholarly appearance.

In truth,

he was an extremely dangerous individual—

or he wouldn't dare come alone.

Jiang Feng had the kind of frame that looked slim in clothes but muscular underneath.

Beneath his ordinary attire,

his body rippled with panther-like explosive muscles.

Remodeled by the heart-shaped herb, his physique could tear people apart with bare hands.

With the added bonuses from his warrior talents,

his strength far exceeded human limits.

And that wasn't all.

Inside his backpack was a fully charged, blue-quality Iron Suit,

lying dormant.

With just a thought,

he could instantly equip it using the Reincarnator's backpack system and transform into an unstoppable iron warrior.

Faced with hostile gazes around him, Jiang Feng's eyes swept the mercenaries sideways.

They saw him as prey—but to Jiang Feng,

they were already labeled as walking corpses.

This trip to Somalia—

wasn't for a normal transaction. To be precise,

he came to stage a brutal black-market betrayal.

A bloody storm was about to begin.

"Welcome to my kingdom! Mister, you have great taste. Among all arms dealers, my stock is absolutely top-tier."

At that moment,

a man with sparse black curls stepped out with a creepy grin.

His shoe soles scraped against the rusted metal, and his chapped lips revealed a few gold teeth.

This was Klaue.

The master of this stranded ship, a man even Wakanda found troublesome—smuggler of vibranium.

"Top-tier or not, I'll decide after I see it. Take me to the goods,"

Jiang Feng said bluntly as sea air, tinged with iron and salt, blew into the cabin.

Looking at Klaue, who was slightly shorter than himself, Jiang Feng didn't bother with pleasantries.

"No problem, no problem. I guarantee satisfaction—as long as you have the money."

Klaue wasn't offended. His gold teeth flashed in a smile as he turned to lead Jiang Feng to the captain's cabin.

Two hulking men followed Klaue as his bodyguards.

Both wore stern expressions. Under their camo uniforms, muscles bulged like rocks. They each held a brand-new AK-47.

As the group watched,

Jiang Feng remained calm, following Klaue through a corridor lined with shipping containers, passing mercenaries with filthy turbans.

Soon,

they arrived at the center of the ship.

Bang!

Klaue kicked open the iron door to the captain's cabin.

A wave of stench hit—sweat, rotting rum, and spoiled food.

The room wasn't large.

Expired beef cans rolled in the corners, porn magazines were spread across a bullet-ridden desk, with scattered casings completing the surreal scene.

The atmosphere made one not want to stay even a second.

"Don't mind this—this is my proud palace,"

Klaue said with a toothy grin, clearly unbothered by the squalor.

"Just bring out the goods,"

Jiang Feng ignored the foul smell, focused solely on the vibranium.

Using the x-ray function in his glasses,

he scanned the room. He clearly saw a hidden space behind a rusty wall,

where a storage device held several tubes of special materials.

Those tubes of silvery liquid—

were vibranium.
