'You're such a grandpa. I have never seen or heard of a Gen-z that doesn't like clubbing. Are you sure that you' re born in the right generation 'Gianni put her manicured hands with long red nails on her waist, speaking on the phone. Grey rolled his eyes refusing her,
' Thank you, l rather prefer binge rewatching the Lord of rings all night'
She pursed her lips,in disapproval
'That how you want to celebrate your first single in two years,TWO YEARS!'
Grey flinched as she shouted on the phone and he watched, as her wicked smirk replaced her scrowl on the video call,
'You know what? I will be there at exactly four so be ready. No excuses, who knows when you' ll be back from the Island. Wear something nice, bye'
Grey didn't have a chance to say anything as she cut the call. Grey swore, determined that Gianni was not getting her way this time but knowing deep down that she was, as she always did. The music video had drained a lot of his energy and as much as he didn't want to admit it, he felt liberated upon its completion. He was looking forward to be spenting his days writing and composing songs, but the thought of his partnership with Ray Electronics was a nagging thought in the back of his mind, one that was making him restless.

Gianni grabbed everyone attention as soon as she entered the A-list Club. Clad in a ruched side mini skirt, long enough to cover her rear end and a wide shoulder corset top exposing too much of her cleverage, she walked with the confidence of an alpha female, demanding attention. Gianni knew that she was beautiful, but more than that, attractive with the body that some women had gone under the knife for, a big bust with curvy thighs.
They arrived early at quarter past six, and they entered through the VIP door, and to Grey surprise the club was very calm, no crazy disco lights. A bluish lighting that sometimes changed to a whitish color filled the night club and very few people occupied the space.
'hopefully, someone is going to get laid tonight' she squeezed Grey's arm and pouted. Grey only sighed, giving her a deadpan stare. Thanks to her, Grey was merely a spark next to Gianni who was a burning inferno, thus this reassured him that he wouldn't be recognized.
'This isn't so bad, Stone' she said as they both sat on the high bar stools on the counter, refraining from calling him by his famous name. The club was different from the clubs he used to go with Ross, with loud head pounding and ear shattering music. This was a club but the environment was that of a pub with the quiet music and well behaved individuals.
'Two martinis, a classic and a French one' she commanded the bartender.
'You said no alcohol' Grey gave her a dirty look and Gianni winked at him,
'How naive, there is no clubbing without alcohol otherwise we would be people watching. And a martini is barely alcoholic.'
Grey was barely recognizable, his shoulder length white hair having been replaced by a pixie black wig and clad in the outfit Gianni had picked for him, a black long sleeved mesh shirt with black tight leather pants and combat boots. He looked like he had came out of the gothic bdsm magazine, only missing the black choker.
Gianni was already flirting with the bartender, and when the bartender went to serve other clients, she turned to Grey,
'what do you think? Uhmm, he could be good in bed but he kinda look like Frank especially with that body. Ugh, why does the universe keep sending me copies of Frank.' she banged her hand on the counter.
Grey knew about Gianni sex and love life, more than he liked, without asking as the former was never shy to speak about it. Frank was Gianni ex husband of four years with a muscular buff frame much like the bartender and well known business man. Grey had met the women when she was fresh from the divorce, Ross having introduced them. The divorce had been a mess and after that, Grey had never heard Gianni speaking of any serious relationship other than her occasional casual sex partners.
'So much for choosing a new club. Thought it will be fun but noone is on the damn dance floor. The music is low and boring. I guess the old waters are better than this' She lamented sipping her classic martini after about fifteen minutes.
'Good, this is fun' Grey laughed
Gianni turned her body on the high stool and scanned the club with boredom in her eyes, from the people who were making out on the club couches to the others that were randomly standing. She was about to draw a long sigh, when she gasped, brown eyes widening,
'Now that is what l call a hunk, l take my words back and about the music too' she squealed when Grey's new single blasted out in the club. She uncrossed her legs and stood up ,
'Okay how do l look,? Is my makeup gud?'
Grey nodded taking another sip from his french martini. Her makeup was superb having been a make-up artist as a side hustle in her late teens and as the bright lightening of the club hit her, her walnut brown skin gleamed.
'Okay, let's hope he is a gud fuck.'
'And how do you expect me to go home whilst you're busy fucking in some -'
'In a condo probably. Don't be jealous that you're not having some. Anyway you can call Charlie, Underton is on leave or you can take a cab ' she took a black lip liner and a small hand towel from her gucci purse and scribed the chaffuer's digits.
'So that it? You brought me here so you could dump me? .'
'Ahh you look like an angry bunny, so cute. I am not dumping you, l told you. How will you get some if l stick around' She kissed his cheek and reapplied her ruby rare lip stick.
Grey watched as she approached a newly arrived tall man with tattoos covering all his exposed skin. She was confident that no man could resist her and in her mind, why would they, they had the same motive as her.As she approached, she could see the man roaming his eyes on her.
'Another martini', Grey ordered as gulped the entire martini.
