She was momentarily taken aback, then nodded, "Is it that tonight, we have to be together all the time again?" They've been living together for several months now, and she's noticed that each month, there's always one day when he insists on staying with her from nightfall onwards. Sometimes, they would hold hands watching TV or reading books together. Other times, he would hold her as they pretended to nap or even insisted on bathing together—essentially, not being separated for a moment.
At first, she found it a bit uncomfortable, but he persisted. Eventually, it turned into a habit over these few months.

"But Kyle, why do we have to do this one night every month?" Mabel Quinn asked, puzzled.
