Tong Airui walked in to find Yi Luowa still working on her drawings. Tonight, no matter what, she just couldn't fall asleep.
"Why aren't you asleep yet?"
"Has the baby been born?"
They spoke at the same time.
"Not yet. They sent me back to keep you company." Tong Airui gently pulled the drawing board from Yi Luowa's hands, glanced at her work, and smiled, "You're getting pretty fast at this."
"I can't calm down. If I could, I'd probably be faster." Yi Luowa pouted. "Did you see Shanshan?"
Tong Airui shook his head. "Shanshan went into the delivery room."
Yi Luowa blinked. "Is she screaming like they do on TV?"
Tong Airui reached out and ruffled her hair. "No, Shanshan's pretty tough."
Yi Luowa bit her pink lips lightly. "I don't think I could be as tough as her."
"When the time comes, you'll be even tougher than Shanshan." Tong Airui said as he removed his coat. "Hey, if I send Kou'er away for a year, will you be okay with that?"
