Lily Turner repeatedly said she wanted to leave, and Sophia Wood was so angry she almost jumped up. She took several deep breaths before gradually calming down a lot.
"You leave? Where are you going? The Military District Compound?" Her eyes were angrily glaring at the person standing not far away, and her expression did not look good.
"I'm married now. Where else can I go but there?" Lily was not afraid of the anger emanating from her mother and spoke truthfully.
Sophia stormed over, reaching out to grab Lily's arm. Filled with anger, her movements were very rough, "You're about to get divorced. From today, stay at home and don't go anywhere."
After saying that, Sophia forcefully pulled Lily back down onto the sofa beside her.
"Can you just let me go?"
After stabilizing herself on the sofa, Lily struggled to pull her hand back. However, she did not get up to leave; she just moved aside, putting some distance between her and Sophia.
