When Michael Linton and Amelia Linton were exchanging pleasantries in the living room, Fabian Holmes also rushed back. To avoid a repeat of last night's incident, he called Theodore Holmes beforehand, instructing him not to come home tonight and to stay in a hotel temporarily.
Fabian greeted Michael politely and sat down not far from the siblings. Once seated, he found himself at a loss for words.
Not only did he not know what to say, but even the siblings were at a loss for words. The three of them fell into silence, and the atmosphere in the living room grew somewhat awkward.

After a while, Michael broke the rather awkward silence with a deliberate cough.
Fabian and Amelia instinctively turned to look at him. Seizing the opportunity, he quickly spoke up, "I want to know what exactly happened last night. Can either of you tell me?"
