Lily Turner really wanted to confront Easton Holmes for a while, but she realized that would only waste time, and in the end, it wouldn't change the fact that she'd be forced to concede. She didn't bother with the effort and directly surrendered.
"You're impressive, I admit defeat."
She raised both of her hands, giving him a thumbs up, but her facial expression was completely inconsistent with her words and the gesture of her hands.
"As long as you admit it."
Easton pretended not to see the unwilling expression on Lily's face, leaned over, and kissed her, "Great performance, this is your reward."
His reward, however, was met with her rolling eyes, but he simply smiled as if he hadn't seen it.
Lily gave a disgruntled glance at the man who had the upper hand but still acted innocent, lowered her raised hands, and got out of bed. She fetched her pajamas from the wardrobe and headed to the bathroom.
