Owain clenched his fists but said nothing, his pride crushed under the weight of his own mistakes.

"Now listen to me carefully," Ramos added, voice dropping low and dangerous. "This is the course of it. It's not about what you want. It's not about what you think you deserve. This is war. And war doesn't wait for a lazy man's complaints."

He took a final step forward, pointing a firm finger at Owain's chest. "You will do exactly what you are told. You will not question it. You will not expect anything in return. And most importantly, you will not breathe a word that isn't asked of you. Because if you cross this line again…" Ramos leaned in closer, his tone ice-cold, "…you'll have me to contend with. And you know what that means, right?"

At that moment, upon hearing what Ramos just said, Owen's jaw tightened so hard it looked like he was grinding his teeth in frustration. His nostrils flared as he clenched his fists by his side. He had had enough.
