Seeing Stark darting around like a pesky fly, slipping past his attacks with infuriating ease, Hulk roared with primal fury. Thick veins bulged across his neck, a clear sign that his rage was boiling far beyond reason.
With both massive green fists raised high, Hulk brought them down at a speed no ordinary human could ever hope to follow. His intent was simple: crush the irritating fly before him into paste.
But the impossible happened—Stark slipped aside effortlessly. His silver-white armor flared, orange-red flames erupting from its thrusters as he twisted gracefully in midair, predicting Hulk's next movement before it even began.
The impact of Hulk's strike cracked the earth. His fists smashed deep into the reinforced concrete floor, gouging out twin craters. Steel beams snapped, cracks spiderwebbed outward, and the entire level began to tremble, groaning under the devastating force. Collapse was imminent.
Missing his target only enraged Hulk further. With a guttural growl, he swung his arm in a sweeping arc, swatting at Stark as if trying to crush a buzzing insect. But Stark had already seen it coming. He ducked low in midair, evading the massive blow, then unleashed a counterstrike.
From above, Stark's fist came crashing down, cloaked in the morphing layers of his Genesis Armor. The armor concentrated its systems, stacking additional layers of power across his arm. Energy vents flared with burning orange fire, boosting the momentum of his strike.
The punch landed like a rocket-propelled uppercut, colliding with Hulk's jaw in a brilliant explosion of force.
BAM!
Several of Hulk's teeth, glowing faintly silver under the light, shot free and scattered through the air.
The sheer impact lifted the Hulk off his feet, sending his enormous frame flying skyward before crashing hard into the ground below. The already weakened floor gave way, groaning one last time before collapsing into the level beneath.
Hulk plummeted with it.
"Sorry, big guy!" Stark quipped, landing elegantly on the new floor. There wasn't a trace of apology in his voice. His Genesis Armor shifted again, transforming in real time. Six massive floating cannons materialized at his back, humming with deadly potential.
Raising both arms, Stark revealed the glowing repulsor cores in his palms, their radiance cutting through the dust-choked air.
Eight searing beams of orange-red light converged on Hulk, detonating in unison. The blast flung the green titan like a cannonball, ripping through walls and scattering debris everywhere.
When Hulk finally slammed into the far wall, his body slumped to the floor. Dust rained from the ceiling, and as if mocking him, a decorative vase shook loose, plummeted down, and shattered squarely against his head. Hulk's eyes shut tight. For the moment, he was out cold.
Then came the sound of applause.
"Impressive. I never imagined your Iron Man technology had reached this level."
Dr. Samuel Sterns—better known as the Leader—stood nearby, his deformed body casting long shadows. A sly smile stretched across his face as he said, "Now I can allow you to join my team after your gamma transformation… as my chief technical consultant."
Stark turned, his faceplate glinting. "If I were you," he shot back dryly, "I'd be worrying more about how to keep myself safe in prison showers."
Sterns chuckled darkly, unfazed. "Stark, take a look at this."
He pulled a remote-like device from his pocket. With a sinister gleam in his eye, he pressed the button.
In an instant, Hulk's body jerked violently. His eyes snapped open, bloodshot and burning. With a guttural roar, he pounded his chest like a war drum, each strike echoing like thunder. His muscles swelled grotesquely, fibers bulging and tearing only to rebuild even larger.
Gamma radiation surged outward, wreathing his body in a hellish green aura that burned like ghostly flames.
Stark instinctively stepped back, unease prickling through even the Genesis Armor's systems.
"You've gotta be kidding me…" he muttered.
"Sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. interrupted, his tone urgent, "Gamma radiation within Hulk's body has spiked over one hundred and fifty percent. The increase in strength is incalculable. Extreme caution is advised."
"Yeah, funny enough—I was already thinking that." Stark replied, trying to sound casual but bracing himself.
The truth was, Hulk had become something terrifying: a walking gamma reactor. His power had always been tied to his emotions, feeding his fury into limitless strength. Now, thanks to Sterns' device, his rage was being artificially fueled, magnified beyond reason.
His muscles had doubled in size. His frame towered monstrously, radiating raw gamma energy so intensely that even his very breath shimmered green with destructive force.
For the first time, even inside the Genesis Armor, Stark felt a cold chill creep into his bones. This wasn't just Hulk anymore—this was something else entirely.
Something far worse.
The Ultimate Hulk.
